Greetings everyone!​

My name is Benjamin Kuli, but you can also find me under the alias Sheodon. I am a music composer, and I have been creating pieces for several years. I joined PokéCommunity several months ago, but I didn't have the time nor the idea what shall I post here. Now I have. :)

I mostly create in classical/soundtrack/new age style, and I'm also currenty working on my own art video game project, Erah: The Guardians. It will take place in the fantasy world of Erah, and will show you not one, but three different stories and different ages and aspects of the same world. I'm also the founder of Blue Flame Candle, an artist group specialized in creating traditional artworks with the modern tools - such as treating video games as a medium capable of creating art.

I'm also opened for requests and commissions - if you need music for your project, feel free to contact me anytime. I also appreciate any feedback, review and response about my works. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Erah: The Guardians is a 2D fantasy roleplaying game and also may be considered a work of art, created by the group Blue Flame Candle. Our goal was, besides implementing numerous, unique innovations, was to create a balanced gaming experience that as many kinds of players can enjoy as possible. So elements from both western and eastern videogaming can be found in our game, which many different types of players may enjoy.

The game takes us to the world of Erah, and through several graspable characters, an immersive story, classic and new roleplay elements leads us to one final conclusion. A conclusion you have the power to change as you learn about the Guardians, the mystical 'living relics', the long forgotten Archs, and as the decisions you make throughout the game each steer you onto a different path. Replayability is immense, for each time you play a story, you have the option to take a different route, which includes a varying set of characters and quests.

Two separate systems make up the game's main structure: a turn based tactical battle system and a levelling system where you can fully customize the development of your character. Also, you can craft unique items from the ancient technologies that you come across, or you may choose to pursue Guardians. Furthermore, the characters available for you to recruit to your party are all different, and each of them has an impact on the story itself. Daytime and night time also play a part, as you will experience encounters and events that only occur in a given part of a day.

You have the option to set difficulty as well, as the game offers settings suitable for both casual and hardcore players. For instance, Story mode allows you to play through the main story without any extraordinary hardships, while Legendary mode will challenge even to the most fanatic of players. All in all, the game will include 4 levels so can find the one that suits you best.

Erah is a living and breathing world that lies there, waiting for you to explore it.

LYCANTHROPY

The Narrator participating in a scientific project has no chance but to escape from their own hometown. Soon they start to experience weird things, and the world they knew it before is not existing anymore. They are lycans, shapeshifters with the instincts and senses of animals, and the knowledge of humans. Will they ever find a cure? Or more important: do they have to? Join the adventure in this experimental audio project. This is not a usual music album: it is not to enjoy it, but it sure will affect you. Travelling in the borderline of classical, electronic, ambient and other music genres to find ways to reform composing and music itself. Are you ready, Narrator?

BLUE FLAME CANDLE (Album)

A simple day, started by viewing a strange blue flaming candle, ends in a spiritual journey which will make you ask questions: what mistakes did you make during your life, what could be different, and the most important: what is the destination? As you follow the path of the blue flame, you will realize that you should have no regrets, do not think about paradox questions of life, and the most important: the journey which matters, not the destination. And then you will realize that you are the blue flame candle - among the red flames.

A spiritual journey in the wings of piano: the unique mixture of soundtrack, classical and new-age music in one audioproject.

Sorry for being inactive for a while, but I've just finished my second album (Lycanthropy), and I'm still doing the post-work for that. More info is, however, coming soon!

I just listened to 'The Archs'. I dig.

The rythmic string section that plays under the melody gives the song a feel of American Western folk music, like old-timey stuff. Then towards the end it sounds more like Eastern folk music. I've recently gotten into instrumental folk, and I quite enjoyed the track.

From a production standpoint, the drums were a bit too loud. But that's the only criticism I have; great melody, cool sound, awesome track.

Thank you so much for the response, it is really appreciated, and I'm glad you liked the music. I agree with the drum part, even thought I intentionally wanted them to be a bit louder than the "natural" drums.

I will update this thread with some new music in a day or two, but I was sick and I couldn't handle all the things I wanted.

I'm actually working on my second (and first commercial) album, also have did music for some commercial and non-commercial projects, and I'm also working on my own video game project where I'll also create the soundtrack. In other words, yes, I've already thought about doing music more seriously instead of doing it as a hobby. However, I still have lots of things to do, especially promotion-wise.
