Recently I heard about a glitch called berry glitch, and i was wondering:

    1.What game?
    2.What does it do?
3.Is it possible to avoid it, I hate glitches

    1.What game?
    Ruby and Sapphire
    2.What does it do?
It makes berries not grow when you put it in the soil
3.Is it possible to avoid it, I hate glitches
I'm not sure. I never had it and I got the game as soon as it came out and still playing it

Ok, So the chances are it won't happen to me, thats good

It only affects the first version of Ruby/Sapphire as well, so the chances of anyone still getting it are rare.

It usually occurs with Ruby and Sapphire after a year of gameplay. It's a glitch that stops clock-based events from occuring — not just berries, but television events and rocket launches as well. In addition to the Fire Red and Leaf Green trick, connecting with Colosseum resolves the problem immediately.

I remember reading somewhere I think it was on gamefaqs that Emerald also
fixes the berry glitch. it never happened to me though and I got Pokemon
Ruby and Sapphire the day they were released so yeah...I dunno what it's
    about.

There is a way to fix the berry glitch on pokemon R and S, but ONLY if you have pokemon LG or FR.
    Heres how:

    There's more ways than that.

It can be gotten rid of by getting Jirachi from Pokemon Channel too. I'm sure there are other ways...

It happened to me.Just the clock-based events didn't work and my nice Liechi Berry never grew from where I planted it :<

Yeah there are other ways too like corrupting ur gamepak. save 3 times n then when u r saving for the third time, switch off ur gameboy right after it finishes showing "saving... please dont turn off the power" or sumthing like dat (b4 the game is saved properly dat is). When u switch it on it'll say sumthing like "game data is corrupted. the previous gamefile will be loaded." u can even speed up the growth of the berries this way. but dont try it if ur gamepak is pirated though. I tried it on my frens pirated gamepak n his data got wiped out. Another way is dat u get sum kinda thingy which givs u the Shiny zizagoon with a Liechi Berry. dats the commonest n every1 knows about it

Please speak English, or link us to that article.

m speaking english dancing dud. neways I dunno the link 2 dat article but i think u can find it in the shinies thread where sum kid sez bout the shining zizagoon w/ a liechi berry. Its very common n I think it sorta like requires a gamecube. Nintendo created it to get over the berry glitch I think.

I don't think it's a good idea to try a solution that may wipe your cartridge or savefile.

If you don't have another game to connect it to, you can call Nintendo, they will send you a postage-paid envelope to send your cart to them in, and they will patch it and send it back to you. I'm not sure if it works that way in the US (it does in Australia), but I would assume so; it would be unmanly of them not to.

It wont wipe out ur data unless u own a pirated gamepak which sez sumthing like "The save file is corrupted. Internal battery has run dry. Clock based events do not occur." or else its safe to corrupt ur game data.

I know someone said this but just go to colloseum bonus disk with game connected and go to berry something and its solved (it happened to me before too!)
