Though Kingdra has beautiful typing it lacks a decent movepool. Sure it gained a new Dragon move it can play around with for STAB (Dragon Pulse) but I'd much rather see a recovery move on it.
Maybe Kingdra shouldn't be number one, but it has become quite a formidable Pokémon with the coming of D/P due to Draco Meteor and Choice Specs. A Kingdra with Sniper and Choice Specs can OHKO or deal serious damage to a Blissey if it gets a critical hit with Draco Meteor and that says alot.
I think everyone would agree that Milotic and Blastoise definately have to be in the top 6
I think best was meant here as ''best in battle'' and Blastoise isn't even close to being in the top 6 best Water types in battle. I love Blastoise's design, but even I have to face the facts and admit that there are far more useful Water types.
My list would be:
- Swampert
- Starmie
- Suicune
- Milotic
- Sharpedo (Say what ever you want about its low defenses. I've learned that even though it's ranked UU in the tiers list, it's still extremely useful in OU battles.)
- Vaporeon
And the first one to say ''ZOMG! Suicune are legendarey!!!!!!!!'' will lose a whole bunch of coolness points in my eyes. Suicune isn't uber and therefore I treat it like any other non-uber Pokémon. If legendaries aren't allowed on this list because they're ''too powerful'' people need to wake up and smell the coffee because there are many OU Pokémon that are much stronger than, for example, the legendary birds, legendary beasts, regis (Regice is actually the only good one of those. x_x) etc.
Oh, and this list isn't based of the tier list, it's based on my personal experiences with those Pokémon in competitive battles.
