Everyone's saying to use a Dusk Ball on it... Doesn't Dusk Ball only get 4x catch rate if it's night time or in a cave? Won't it just be like using a normal pokeball if it's during the day? Unless... is Murkrow caught in a cave?
Dusk Balls have nothing to do with the Pokemon Type. They're most effective at nighttime or in caves. I think Murkrow can be caught at night, but I've never seen it in a cave.
You can use Timer Balls (I'm quite fond of those). They work very well for hard-to-catch Pokemon; I caught all three Regis, Rayquaza, and a few D/P legendaries with them. It should be pretty effective if you have a little patience. Just don't wait so long that it'll have to use Struggle and knock itself out. I made that mistake once... stupid Regirock...
My prefer balls are:
Duskballs(I carry like 400 of these)
Quickballs(Again, 400 of these)
Nest Balls(I carry around 130 of these)
Repeat balls(130 of these)
I usually carry these with me all the time, with these things you can pretty much catch everything without a problem.
*cough* I thought that Murkrow was the Diamond counterpart of Misdreavus...? My point, it can only be seen at night in the Eterna Forest, therefore dusk ball is the best choice.
