2nd Gen Best Battle against Red

i beat red with suicune meganium haunter dragonite ledian and pupitar
red is very easy except his snorlax
 
My best battle was with my favorite pokemon!!

On my Crystal game before the internal battery ran dry, I did it with a team like the OP, they were all level 45. Feraligatr, Togetic, Golem, Gyarados and Mew (traded from Blue, catght through the glitch).

However, my most memorable battle was the first time I fought him. I was training a Pidgeotto at the time, and it was only about level 29 or something like that (all the others were a pretty high level). because I was so young, I found him quite difficult, and all the other Pokémon has been knocked out. So I sent out Pidgeotto against Venusaur, his last pokémon, and kept using Fly. Because Venusaur kept using Solarbeam, I won.

Venusaur took in sunlight!
Pidgeotto flew up high!
Venusaur used Solarbeam!
Venusaur's attack missed!
Pidgeotto used Fly!
It's super effective!

And so on until it fainted.
 
Haha Horizon, the AI is so smart, isn't it?

Can you remember how many levels your Pidgeotto gained?

on topic, i've never battled Red, but as i'll be getting SS this spring, i'll hopefully get to battle him pretty soon.
 
That was in my Water Monotype . I remember how I had my Cloyster keep using Ie Beam and it took like 1/5 from Snorlax's HP . I got scared , than switched to Gyarados , which got killed . Then I put Cloyster back on (Snorlax had like 3/5 left) and used Surf which landed crit . and then killed Snorlax .

THAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN MY WATER CHALLENGE !

Umm I think I beat him with just a Dragonite. At level 100, but that's really nothing to be proud of...

Ok, took me a ton of revives (mainly because of the damn Charizard), but at least I can say without lying: "I beat Red with an entire Unown team in the mid 50s"
I looked it up and found out it were the low 60s actually, in the mid 50s the team was when it beat the Elite 4
