2nd Gen Best/fastest place to level?

    Where is the best/fastest place to grind your pokemon up to level 100? I've promised a friend to have a high-level team in Gold ready in a few weeks and need to know how to do it as fast as possible.

    Also, the team i've been thinking of using consists of a Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Dragonite, Mew, Tyranitar and a Blastoise. Will this be a good team or am i completely blinded by looking at the total stats on Bulbapedia?
     
    well for the GSC games I battle red, the E4, and the trainer house to get my pokemon leveled up.
