Hate to be contradictory, but I'll also offer some movesets.....after all, you surely want knowledge from people with different battling styles, right? I tend to vary more towards a mixture of physical and special moves, so here's my ideas:
Sceptile
- Leaf Storm
- Leaf Blade
- Dragon Claw
- Rock Slide
I have reasonings: Leaf Storm is your only special attack, and has a negative side-effect of lowering the special attack stat two stages. However, Sceptile's special attack is higher than its' attack, and grass-type attacks also get the Same-Type-Attack-Bonus (STAB for the rest of this post), which increases their power due to Sceptile being grass-type. Leaf Blade is extremely powerful, Dragon Claw is a brilliant move to have, hitting ,most things neutrally, and Rock Slide is super-effective against Flying and Fire-types, two types of pokémon that Sceptile is weak to. However, bear in mind you can't get more than "not very effective" against steel-types. Then again, that's why you have Arcanine!
Arcanine
- Extremespeed
- Overheat
- Flare Blitz
- Thunder Fang
Overheat is basically a fire-type Leaf Storm, and is really powerful. However, Arcanine's attack is slightly higher than his special attack, but it does get STAB. Thunder Fang hits water-types, who are the main weakness you have to deal with. Flare Blitz is a fire-type physical move, with a high power of 120. However, it means you have to wait for Growlithe to learn it before evolving it, then use a Heart Scale to get Extremespeed, but it's worth it, as it also gets STAB bonus. Extremespeed is a move which always moves first (like Quick Attack, Ice Shard etc.) however it's really powerful too, twice as powerful as say....Bullet Punch. Also, another reason for choosing Overheat - pokémon with really high defense such as Skarmory often have low special defense, so that's a better option for damaging them, especially as all of your team are better at physical attacks.
Gallade
- Close Combat
- Psycho Cut
- Swords Dance
- Night Slash
I prefer to use Swords Dance on Gallade, as it has decent special defence, and really high attack, which means after one Swords Dance you deal over 50% damage to pretty much everything. Psycho Cut is brilliant, however dark-types are immune. But Close Combat hits dark-types super-effectively! However, ghost-types are immune to dark, but wait, Night Slash hits ghosts super-effectively! Basically, this set covers its' own weaknesses. You'll still have a flying-type weakness, but you can always switch.
Flygon
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge
Draco Meteor is...yep, you guessed it, basically a dragon-type Overheat/Leaf Storm, so is a good option to have, especially as all your other attacks are physical. It also gets STAB boost, as does Earthquake, another really powerful move. U-Turn is nifty in that it deals damage then switches you out, giving you the advantage! Stone Edge hits flying-types, who are immune to the brilliant Earthquake, so is a really good option.
n.b. Dragon Claw could be used over U-Turn or Stone Edge as a more reliable dragon-type attack, which is physical and comes off Flygon's higher attack stat.
Scizor
- Bullet Punch / Iron Head
- Bug Bite / X-Scissor
- Quick Attack / Night Slash
- Aerial Ace / Brick Break
Scizor has an ability, Technician, which boosts the power of moves with 60 power or less. If you have that ability, use the first attacks listed (Bullet Punch, Bug Bite etc.) as two of them always go first, one steals a foe's berry and eats it, and the fourth one, Aerial Ace, never misses. If it has the ability Swarm instead (which is inferior), use the second attacks (Iron Head, X-Scissor etc.) as they're more powerful, and X-Scissor and Night Slash often get critical hits too. FYI Bullet Punch, Iron Head, Bug Bite and X-Scissor also get the STAB boost I mentioned when talking about Sceptile, which makes them even more powerful.
Weavile
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
- Ice Shard
- Revenge
Ice Shard cannot actually be learned by Weavile - you need to wait for your Sneasel to learn it before evolving it. It's a priority move, which also gets STAB. Ice Punch is more powerful, and generally better to use unless your foe is weakened. Night Slash is a brilliant move, also getting STAB, and high critical hit ratio. Revenge is a nifty move where, should you be outsped for some reason (i.e. Ninjask or something using Quick Attack, Aqua Jet or another variation), its' power will be doubled, essentially giving it a power of 120, the same as attacks such as Arcanine's Flare Blitz.
Hope I haven't overwhelmed you! If you don't understand some of the things I said, you can look it up, or ignore it, I'm just trying to be helpful :D
Sorry if I seem to ramble, but my habit is to go into detail...it's just how I roll.
