    I would personally pick Cloyster because of his cool looks and all, but by HP and some other criteria Forretress seems like a better choice... and of course there is Skarmory which I won't comment, because I personally don't know a lot about him. So what do you think?
     
    Roserade is an awesome spiker. I use her all the time.
     
    I really like Cloyster and its mix of ice and water. Its aurora beam is very cool, its shell makes for a great defense. Skarmony as I said in another thread in its comparison with Staraptor is very cool because its metal and flying combination. What makes it so interesting is usually bird types are weak against electricity but Skarmony's steel cancels that out. It's steel wing attack is awesome.

    Skarmory is still weak to Thunderbolt =/

    Both pure Steel and Normal types take neutral damage from electric attacks. Look up a type chart or something.

    Your right, my mistake. I got my types mixed up lol. Electric attacks do haul in a lot of damage on Skarmory. What I really should say is because its defense is higher then the normal birds gives it a better chance, but it still very venerable to electric attacks.

    Actually, no, Skarmory's Special Defense is actually worse than that of Pidgeot, Noctowl, and about half of Togekiss's Special Defense.
     
    Meh, oh well. I am just going to stop referring. Not really helping myself here lol. For some reason today, I was thinking Skarmory had an edge against electric pokemon compared to other birds but I was wrong and I am just going to leave it at that.

    I chose Skarmory as that's the only one I've used out of those three Pokemon.
     
    IMO Froslass is a rather decent spiker, due to the fact that she prevents her spikes from being spun away by merely existing :D

    My favorite is Froslass, just because you can't rapid spin the spikes away. :]
     
    I love all three, but I'm not to fond of Forretress's 4x damage to fire.

    I guess I would say I like Cloyster the most because the combo of
    water/ice is more useful to me then flying/steel.
     
    I was thinking there was going to be a majority of Skarmony votes out of these three, I didn't think Cloyster would be getting the majority of the votes. Its nice to see though, I really like Cloyster as I mentioned earlier. It is cool having water/ice combo.
     
    I voted Forretress because of his coolness factor. :P

    Statistically, I think Cloyster is better, and has a better typing...no 4x damage or anything...

    ...no

    Cloyster's the ONLY one of the three who's weak to Stealth Rock. But let's see their common weaknesses:
    Skarmory's weak to Thunderbolt and Flamethrower.
    Forretress is ONLY weak to Flamethrower (albeit a 4x weakness at that)
    Cloyster is weak to Close Combat, Stone Edge, and Thunderbolt: three of the most common and virulent attacks around. So, no, Cloyster doesn't have a "better typing" than either Forretress or Skarmory at all.
