I like the water types. Has good advantage in the begining and doesnt have 4x weakness.

Toterea all the way, man. I mean, IT HAS A F***ING TREE GROWING ON ITS BACK. It doesn't get much brutaller than that. And good stats.

In terms of the metagame, it's not even a contest... Infernape wins in power within a landslide. Torterra's extreme weakness to ice is just horrible (and the only thing that is preventing Torterra from being an exceptionally powerful tank...) Empoleon's stats just do not match what its movepool reflects at all.

What are you talking about? Empoleon's built to be a mixed wall and a special sweeper, and it has moves like Surf, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Grass Knot, and the like at its disposal.

At first I was going to get Torterra, because he's cool, but then I saw Empoleon and did the calculations in my head. Metal + Penguin = Awesome.

well i say you have to go with turtwig

i later went with piplum and chimchar

just wasnt the same turtwig is the best

I say Turtwig, because he was my first one I chose. Torterra looks flipping sweet too- HE'S A FLIPPING WALKING ISLAND!

I chose Turtwig, because Torterra is a Grass/Ground Pokemon. There are enough Water Pokemon in the game and Chimchar... It was not my type. But now I´ve got Infernape and Empoleon, too and I like both, but Torterra is best^^

I went with Piplup, so that's my vote. My Empoleon never lost a battle before. Water-Steel is a good combination too. it couls easily beat Grass-Ground or Fire-Fighting.
