Best Substitute/Reversal (Focus punch) Pok?mon

The idea is to Sub to 1HP, and switch, then bring him back in later and hope TTar hasn't brang in his Sandstream, if you can get Dodrio back in later (After one of your pokemon dies preferably), you can pull off a decent Flail, since it'll be like, 200pwr + STAB + CB = I don't know, but it's big.

Also, he hits 328 Spd with Nature, so he can outspeed most things ^_^.

Just make sure you can get rid of TTar's Sandstream after you've killed him.

Like, consider Rain Dance on a pokemon just incase TTar pops up kinda thing.

And Dance AFTER TTar is dead.
 
Its a gamble, but it pays off nicely if you can pull it off. And whoever repped me in this thread you rock too! :)

The Dodrio thing, very risky, but yeah, I saw it somewhere before. The worst thing is choice band. A sub Rev hera can M-horn with swarm for stuff it can't affect, but the Dodrio... you'll need to get rid of lots of threats before doing anything. Btw, thanks for crediting me for the Avatar LH. Homework's a killer... haven't been posting much lately yar.
 
The idea is to Sub down to 1HP, switch out, kill everything that will stop it, then bring him back in.
 
why not just use liechi? u get the same attack when it activates, and u dont have to do switching

also here are all the pokemon that can learn reversal and flail again: heracross, vigaroth, smeargle and slaking.
 
cause they will just switch in something that counters you
then you switch out and the berry is negated
 
The idea is to evade berry negation, like Hustle said <_< Hustle.

It's a good idea, as you can Sub down, then switch, and not lose the extra power, the thing is, you need to wipe out anything that resists Flail, and rid TTars Sandstream (If it pops up), before bringing him back in, which is why having a Mixed Sweeper such as Blaziken could help (Fire > Steel, Fighting > Rock)
 
yep, and y'all know what i say about blazekin! the only pokemon that can STAB sweep skarm/bliss w/ ease. speaking of him, why not post his moveset since he has reversal!

overheat/flamethrower
eq/rockslide

or:
endure
reversal
fireblast/fthrower
quick attack/sunny day

this gives hax to stop first turn hitters, and also sunny day is to be used when u predict a switch to ty... ty comes in the turn u sunnyday, so their hopes are drowned, and u get a free turn to attack, b/c who wants to fight a 1 lifed, stabbed reversal that is se from ty, so they will prob switch out, u will 1hko their switch. and then they will have 2 send ty in to sstorm u. also it reduces water attacks by 1/2. (if u havent used endure yet, then its good vs water types, and it boosts fire blast (which is helpful b/c its alot of damage, hax a 30% burn, and doesnt lower sp a!

Heres one thats fairly unexpected in UU play.

Yanma @ Liechi
Speed Boost

~Protect/Aerial Ace/HP Flying
~Substitute
~Reversal
~Shadow Ball

Protect is optional if you opponent is using say an Aero. You are slower at first so Protect, then SB will bring you above their speed.

Hey a little off topic. kirbs did you leave the Shiny Hunters Club? I read some early posts and you joined.
 
ya, i think they posted faster than I could keep up w/.. anyways, I do have a shiny crobat in my game! it evolved from golbat at lvl 51! took forever, had 2 give it evs boosts with iron, protein, etc. anyways, thats why cro is 1 of my favs!
also i tried the yanma thing like 3 weeks ago, its good, but reversal is still kind of weak, even w/ the liechi berry. i suggest, maybe *with compound eyes: @ leftovers (for sandstorm), or leichi
sub, reversal, hypnosis, screech/swagger *they will probably switch after the hypnosis, and u will probably have used sub on the switch, so if u swagger them, they will have chance to hurt them selves, or u will screech instead *on the switch, and sub till at low life to reversal
 
That Yanma could work, unfortunately you have to sacrifice speed boost tho, which means Aero and Jolt will beat you, not that they come into UU play...

On the topic off shinies, Im not gonna touch my Cubone in the forseeable future. I always leave them as I catch them usually. And I missed out on a shiny Rhyhorn the other day. >.<
 
if it makes u feel better, u can use endure instead of sub (but only ty can beat u or qa,etc)
also shinies are kind of annoying b/c u know if u see 1 and miss it ull regret it forever lol. especially in the safari zone and similar places... lol, **** heracross!
 
Too bad Salamence can't get Flail from Gyarados, it would make it even more OUed than it already is. And why is a +1 Salamence so dangerous compaired to a +1 Gyrados or even a +2 Tyranitar?
