3rd Gen Best to get...

I'm not sure if this belongs in this forums, but I need to know what would be the best cheat device to use with Fire Red/Leaf Green? My friend has a GameShark SP but it seems that he can never find codes for it..Only for the older GameShark..Then I hear of people using an Action Replay (I think that's what it's called)..Anyway..What is the best and most reliable to buy?
