4th Gen Best/Worse Radio Shows on the PokeGear

    Have you ever listened to any Radio shows you thought were useful, strange, or absolutely pointless? Post it here!

    Mine:
    Useful: DJ Ben, as I tune in to the Hoenn and Sinnoh sound occasionally.
    Same goes with the Oak and Mary show.

    Pointless: "The Top 3 of those towns", as I never get anything new from them.
     
    Useful: Oak and Mary and their swarms are lovely. The trainer watch is kind of useful, 'cus sometimes I like trying to guess which one their talking about before it says who it is.
    Useless: DJ Ben has never given me the Hoeen or Sinnoh march things, so he's there, then the other fail station that has weird uninteresting poke-sitcoms or dramas.
     
    I think the random radio-dramas are funny. They try to be serious WHILST having Pokemon involved, and that's quite hard to do, especially when the scripts are so cheesy.
    Oak's swarm info is great, but Mary's annoying little quips 'RATTATA - Easy to chat to friends about!' send me into a rage. They're even more annoying than my baby sister.

    Hm, mine is DJ Ben's Pokemon March. It helps a lot when leveling and just trying to find Rare Pokemon.

    Oak's show is my second, only because he has yet to tell me that Chansey is swarming. And I hate Mary.

    The last two are pretty much useless. I do Benuea(sp?)'s Password occasionally, but other than that it is pointless.
     
    Best - Buena's Password and the Radio Dramas (interesting in their cheesiness. plus i love the music).

    Worst - Pokemon Talk - Mary irritataes me so i never have it on for more than about 15 seconds.
     
    Best Shows: Oak's, Buena's Password, PokeMusic and the Town show.
    Worst: Anything else

    Im sure people are wondering why the town show. Pallet and Cinnabar get some funny interactions.
    When they try to countdown 3 on Cinnabar they get "Volcano and... theres nothing else! oops!" which as a Communications Student, I can tell you is an on-the-air-no-no. So thats a bit funny.

    Pallet is interesting because the radio spreads a rumor that Blue beat Red so Blue is better, which puts an interesting dynamic as to why Red might be on Mt. Silver. Red maybe a gossip, but im sure anyone wouldnt want to be around home after hearing that on the radio.
     
    I have yet to get DJ Ben's sounds of Hoenn/Sinnoh.

    OK... now for explaining.

    The Pokemon March is useful for leveling up and finding rare Pokemon. The Lullaby helps when you rush because you're out of repels and the Hoenn/Sinnoh sounds bring more Pokemon. And with the Classic Sunday I can listen to the badass 8-bit music Rocket Fight Team.
    I need swarms-Pokedex Completion.
    I love listening to dramas and stuff. It makes Pokemon feel real ! :D
    Who gives a damn s**t (sorry for swearing, but it IS really annoying) about "Rattata Easy to chat about" or "Zubat look into its eyes and you will ..." . Seriously, who cares ?
     
    I don't really like Pokemon Talk. I love the Lullaby station. I always have it on. :)
     
    Ben's show can be very useful depending on if I'm trying to capture some specific Pokemon. I just have to make sure it's the right day xD

    Everything else is "meh" at best. Mary is annoying. I'll only listen to the "random talk" shows if I have nothing better to do. I honestly followed Buena's show more diligently in Crystal than in the new games, for reasons I'm not quite sure of.

    PokeFlute station serves no real purpose once you wake up Snorlax.
