POKEMON INFERNAL LEGEND​

Hello I'm Pokepal17 and this Pokemon Infernal Legend. I bet you're wondering why make a new thread when I have another one. Well that other one is old as the game has been renewed and if I revive it I could get infracted for reviving an expired thread or double posting.

Storyline​

We all know the story of Red (play Fire Red to find out). 3 years after his triumph over the Indigo Plateau champion, he was beaten by Gold (play Shiny Gold or Liquid Crystal yo find out everything). 50 years later, after many feuds across the land and after many tiresome battles, Blue (grandson of Prof Samuel Oak) moved to the Ioho Reigon, a reigon east of an unknown reigon (which you can reach after the Elite 4) north of Sinnoh. Blue adopted his birth name and for the past 20 years, he has been known as the Pokemon researcher Prof Gary Oak.

But Ioho has fallen on tough times. After their defeat in Hoenn, Team Magma decided to go into hiding and devise a plot. Not to conquer the world, but to expand their army. After their invasion on Ioho, they turned Pokemon gyms into their recruitment academies and appointed a powerful trainer as the academy director. They took over the Champion's Plateau and made it the Global Headquarters. Now they search for Legendary Pokemon, reasons unknown.

Today, you wake up and it's the day that marks the beginning of your Pokemon journey. Yay :) (if only it was real). You walk out of bed and get ready to go downstairs when something shocking, scary and out of the ordinary happens (no spoilers :P). You go downstairs and talk to Mom. She tells you that Grandma wants you. You talk you Grandma and are sent on an errand to Bayleaf Harbour, to recieve the recently missing Prof Gary Oak's parcel from the old sailor Captain Mac.​

When getting it back, giving it to Grandma and saying goodbye to your Mom, You're lief changes forever. Get ready to batttle Team Magma in a quest to restore the Ioho Reigon to it's former glory by shutting down their training academies, encountering Legendary Pokemon, mysterious rivals and journeying to the Global Headquarters to stop them once and for all!​

A. The tiles I've used are from Pokecommunity in the resources thread, from PHO or I drew them myself.

A. Under no circumstances can anybody use them.
Q. What's an IPS?
A. An IPS is a patch that contains the data for a ROM and it's used because ROMs are illegal.
Q. How do I use and IPS?
A. You patch it to a clean ROM using LIPS; it's really simple.
Q. When will you release a beta?
A. Asking me will only delay the beta.​

Okay thanks for that. I'll just go into details on the story but it will unravel as you play the game:P

UPDATES
Well nobody noticed but the "Infernal" was spelt wrong on the titlescreen and that's been fixed.

Second I've finished mapping the second city. Here are some screenies.

The Rival has had a bit of a palette change and a big personality change. That Pokecenter is the edit of Green Charizard (so I credit him, but this tile cannot be used by anyone):paranoid:

The Psyduck won't disappear until after a certain event.

This is just a random event I added :P

Okay, I see. Well then I think I might release a bit of story after I reach a certain place in the hack. Maybe I'll make them into chapters and post one after each release :P

Well first of all there won't be a beta tomorrow :(

Second I've changed the palettes and and I need to add some script the second town.
The only thing is that some flags reset themselves causing scripts to repeat themselves which is a real pain, but I'll get that sorted.

Third, here is a little feature I'm adding to the hack, similar to DP's Amity Square.

Okay, I thanks, I've changed the palettes to summat different than the ones in those screenies.

I hope you like the new palette :)

Also I've learnt to resize overworld sprites, so say goodbye to those crappy FR Legendary overworlds :P

If you read the manga, you would know Fire Red has a completely different story to the manga.

But it still looks promising enough for some good betas to come out

Minigame 1 is complete!

Concept- Hit the tiles to make Pokemon appear. You will earn/lose points depending on which Pokemon appear. If your score would be a "-" number, it just gets reset to 0.

Here are the points for each Pokemon:
Lapras = + 5
Omanyte = + 2
Kangaskhan = + 1
Nidoran = - 1
Cubone = -2
Machop = - 5

The Pokemon may not appear on the same tile next time (randoms at work :P). It's also bug free :)
This minigame will be in beta 2.

UPDATES!!!!!!

First of all, I have been messing with music and here's a track that I'm gonna insert (not in this beta though :P)




Next, I've changed the Hero Overworld and Sprites.
