No, Max, Tyson was training with Kenny.
The puppy stole Ty's BB, and than they met Max (he tought Kenny and Ty were funny _ _; )
 
Meh, I'm confused now .. which Max met who .. *gets stabbed* Anyway, if the puppy stole the blade, why was Max running after it in the first place?
Yeah, either I'm confused, or my memory's screwed.
 
Now I remember! Tyson was training with Kenny, a puppy who got loose from it's owner took off with Ty's blade, then it fell into the river and was about to drown. Buuuut... *superhero music* Max appeared and saved the puppy using his techniques which where FAR superior to Tyson's at the time! Yay for Max!

Actually, 'chan' can be used as a suffix for boys who are close friends, someone's boyfriend, or a boy who's really young =D

And, in the English version, everyone calls Max 'Maxie'. It's.. weird hearing Kai say it x_x

My friend says they use "chan" about boys in animes sometimes, so I think it CAN be used as a suffix for boys, but only when they're a SUPER close friend. I even think a girl can be called "kun" if she's tomboyish and stuff ._. I could be wrong, though..

Okay, I exaggurated for theatrical effect. Kai says "Maxie" in a taunting way during their Black Dranzer battle.
 
Well .. maybe super-closeness can count, but I don't think girls are ever called kun. I think you better check www.mahou.org .. its got a Japanese dictionary. ^o^

*sweatdrops* O..kay.. but calling him Maxie as a taunt is supposed to be cool, not friendly. :3
 
I remember that. "So, what's your problem, Kai?"
"HM,Maxie, you're no problem for me at al!" (litteraly translated, I think _ _; )

I really would love to have a great impact on people by taunting them, I remember that Max was all "grr" when Kai said that.
 
He replied *tries to remember (stupid cause saw eppy yesterday)*
Wait, Kai said "Go Black Dranzer!" launches Black Dranzer.
"Its going to be difficultier than you think Kai! Draciel defend!" Or something like that _ _;
 
No, Max actually won!
When Max was fighting Kai, he asked Tyson to send out Dranzer.
Dranzer could match the power of BD and Kai was surprised.
then the Bladebreakers called their Bitbeasts and beated Kai.
then the ice broke, emotional moment, blablabla...
 
*stares* Bleh, I've forgotten. But NOTHING beats the Spin By Spin song - how it was used in that first battle where Kai has against the Bladebrakers in that Ice Field before the tourney.

At the end of the episode, I was watching it with a friend, and we were both like "YAY THEY RULE, Like how're they gonna leave now? XD" and coincidentally, Rei says "hey guys? How do we leave?" or something like that.
 
Hihi I liked the end. in dutch he says (in a very dry manner) "Eh, jongens, hoe komen we hier weg?" "Eh guys, how are we going to leave?"
I can't stop laughing when I hear him say that ^_^
It's wierd, when Tyson screams you can hear Kai; *dubfault?*
 
Lol, I laughed at that too! He went " Err.. Guys? How are we gonna get out of here?". It was exactly what I was thinking XD

I loved that battle =D Yah, Kai was all high and mighty and " You're out of your league!", and Max was all like "Grrr! I may be as intimidating as a teddy bear, but I can fight pretty darn well!" and I was like "Wh00t!" It was cool.

And Max held Kai off for a good while! It was neato spaghetti-o!
 
"Breaking the Ice" is one of my favo Episodes, and for a very good reason.

Tyson saying "Oh the buffet, for me the buffet is a Challenge. Oh beafsteak!" LOL
 
TEDDY BEAR? < < Now I take that as an offence to the name of Max. *pokes Chuchino* Anyway, I still believe that battle was the best one of the whole Beyblade series .. :3

Yeah, it was a cool battle! Despite what people say about Max being a weakling with lame battling skills, he's one of the best characters ever!

I'm horrible ;_;

Silly, I was disagreeing with people who say Max is lame. I actually think he's much stronger then most people give him credit for =3 Did you know he's actually my other favorite character?

Dino-bitbeast. I don't know.. Oh yeah, the one Max battled in the episode he was stuck in the falling building with Mariam ^^
