Binary Hack Research & Development Forum Rules
The Binary Hack Research & Development forum is the place for contributing research notes and gathering suggestions in order to improve today's Binary ROM hacks. The research can consist of modifications to features in the games, or adding entirely new features to the game.
Forum Rules
This forum is bound by rules set in the global Pokécommunity Rules
To make sure that things remain civil, and to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable time, we ask that, along with the global PokéCommunity rules, you observe the rules and resulting infractions set forth.
Do not post, direct users to, or link to commercial ROMs of any sort
Regardless of whether a new hacker needs them or any other purpose, you may not link to a "download" of any commercial game (basically, any commercially sold ROM that we ROM hack in here), or direct users to any method to downloading a ROM.
You may be infracted (three permanent infraction points) or risk immediate suspension of your account, should you link to commercial ROMs of any sort.

Posting Format
The first post should have what you're aiming to do. It's recommended that you write this in a short paragraph. In addition, you may include notes such as what you've already researched. You should also note the game(s) that you are researching and developing your idea for. You also have the option to forbid your idea from being given to another party (see rule below).
Any member may post in a development thread. You may contribute ideas, tips, scripts, or anything that may further the development or finish the project. Members may not, however, post any comments that don't contribute to the thread.

Additional Guidelines
You should have a minimum amount of knowledge before creating a thread here
We expect that you are able to hex edit. It isn't a requirement that when you post a idea that you specifically know how to implement it, since anyone can come up with a creative new idea, but if you post here we expect you to know the feasibility of what you want to do.
The revival limit does not apply in this forum, and you may assume control of inactive projects unless you state otherwise
In case there is something that hasn't been implemented and appears to be abandoned, you may take over the project (regardless of the thread's last post). However, you can choose not to allow your idea's rights to be transferred by stating so in the first post by of the thread. You may not assume the rights of anything in a thread you take the lead for if any statement (e.g. any copyright appended to code) expressly prohibits it.
This forum can hold finished products as a result of your research and development
If you've created a document or tool that's a result of your idea, you may choose to keep the resulting product in this forum or move the end product to its relevant forum.
