AHAHAHA Art of Kanda! XDDDD That omake is hilarious. Don't remember seeing it before though. Hmm, maybe the omakes were cut on onemanga? 'Cuz I don't remember any D.Gray-Man manga omakes.

You know what really irks me? When n00b-fans call DGM "Doctor Gray-Man."
 
I think it's probably the first thing of DGrayMan I saw/read. I found that volume in a comic store and I realised how much Kanda looked like Alto dressed like that. When I looked up the cover to show to someone else, I found that Omake... and lol'd. XD Though I didn't fully get it, nor did I know who the characters were. At first I thought "Master" refered to the Manga-ka, and that the "Maker of Eden" was another Manga-ka... who drew the "Eden" manga...
Now I understand that "Master" refers to the Marshall, and "Maker of Eden" to his weapon.

Oh really? :0 Then I should look at MangaFox if I am to read the manga. :'D
Perhaps they have them there.


Oh? I don't know what the "D" stands for (yet), but I'm pretty sure it's not "Doctor". ._."
I don't even know if it means anything.
It's like the DN in DN Angel. Of course it can mean anything randing from "Daisuke Niwa" to "Dark Niwa" and I dunno... But it doesn't necessairily have to mean anything. It could, - and most likely, even with the "extra meaning"- refer to the "DNA"...
 
The manga-ka herself said that the title was just completely random. Though I think it suits it well. ^^ The initials DGM are really cool, too. XD

And yay! I finally remembered one omake I read! That means they weren't cut, I just forgot them. XD (Gasp! How dare I? Oh, wait, I started the DGM manga around two and a half years ago...maybe even three...hmm...)

They're at the end of the episodes, I'm pretty sure they start appearing around episode 32 to 39. Something like that. I always skip the endings, though, so I didn't know about them until I saw them on youtube.
 
32 to 39? And they're after the episodes? I should check it out. :0 I usually watch the endings... My sister doesn't. It's a good reason to make her watch them. XD

Haha, yeah, you must be confused about their clothes. XDD I wish I could go to an anime convention...except 1) I'm a social recluse, I know absolutely nothing about society. I just discovered yesterday why the Canadian hockey team was called HABS. 2) When I'm nervous or when I'm in public and people look at me, I really don't know what to do my mouth. I lick my lips and do all sorts of weird things. 3) I'm very hard at discerning what people say in movies, videos, on the radio, etc. 4) I have absolutely no sense of direction, and I get stressed wayyyy too easily.

One special thing that I noticed about D.Gray-Man's artstyle is the mouth. There's often a line above or below it or something.

I just realized again for the ten thousandth time how much I love Lavi. T__T

Does it hold spoilers for any eposode past 40? If so, remind me of it again when I finish the series.

It's not that special. They just define the shape of the lips. :3 It's not uncommen for those lines to be drawn. Though the below line is more often drawn than the upper one, which is usually replaced by a shadow.

Lavi is such a nice guy <3

And wow... Yuu's voice is a little on the low side compared to Lavi's....
I know his Japanese voice is low as well, but the english one is too low. :X

edit: Just saw episode 45... MWAHAHAHAH XD Antisocial humbug (about Kanda)? XDDD I already love Froi Tiedoll. XDDDD They made fun of Kanda so many times in that episode.

By the way, don't you think that the person who did Lavi's voice (in the previous video I showed you) was amazing? He sounded just like the actual dub.

I agree with one of the commentors on Youtube... "It happened to Kanda of all people".
Indeed. It was a very good job they did on Lavi.
I like his Japanese voice as well, but at some times it sound a little shrill(?), specially when he's being happy or trying to be happy. When he's doing serious thinking it seems a tone lower.

On a side note, I'd join the DGM club, but I'm terrified of spoilers. So I'll wait until I finish the Anime. ^^
 
Oh yeah, the club's full of spoilers. XD I love Lavi's japanese voice too. It's...how to say...like when you talk when blocking your nose. Very Lavi-ish. 8D I find it suits him well.

I agree about the whole happy/serious difference, though. I find it kinda matches the hair up/hair down thing. xD Even his two themes show that.

Oh, that theme of "Successor Lavi" is used in a more upbeat version when he's battling, no? Oh, never mind the 'upbeat'. XD
It's a very energetic theme that indeed portrays Lavi's happy side.
