I noticed that every anime I seen, there are so many pretty boys/men. Have you seen anime that the guys didn't look so bishie? I can give you example: One Piece. In that anime not one guy look very bishie to me.
 
What about Love Hina - no real goodlooking guys in that.
 
For some reason, Yu Yu Hakusho instantly popped into my head. But then I remembered about Hiei and Kurama, and they're definitely bishounen. I agree about One Piece, definitely. From what I've read, which isn't much, there aren't any bishie-looking guys there. Uh, how about Dragon Ball? o.o;;

It depends on the art style used and the genre of the anime/manga. So, something like Dr. Slump or Bo-Bo-Bo-<insert the rest of the Bo's here> are unlikely to have any bishounen. But I might be wrong, I haven't read much of those manga.
 
The guys in Dragon Ball are seriously ugly.
 
You guys are absoultely right! Love Hina, One Piece, The Dragonball Series, Bo-Bo^7(who cares!), have guys that are not that pretty at all.

And I agree it has something to do with some type of genre and art style. Most of the time the mangaka is a guy and of course, the guys in the manga or anime won't look bishie. In some cases they do, but most...not.

Now if the mangaka is a woman, she will make the guys look very bishie. ^^

I noticed this of my years watching anime and reading manga. I found the connection! XD

But there are a lot of bishies out there, so it balances out somewhat. :3

But there are those rareties (or not) that have bishounen in a manga made by a male manga-ka. That's probably the only way they get female readers. xD

I don't get it completely, but I agree with you; XD

Anyways, I've been watching VK up to ep 7. =) I like it very much. =D The Chairman is hilarious now and then. I like his hair Of course Zero is a bishie (of course). But I think that Kaname is cute too. 'specially when he's young. You know, there's this moment, when Yuuki touches his fangs, I could swear he had triangular ears and was an elf (you don't see it, but I think he would look nice as an elf XD)
 
I like both Kaname and Zero but Zero best <333333333

Ah, yes, I thought you used an 'is' too many. xD

Zero is nice, yes. =D But I think his hair could use a little more... strands of hair standing up. XD His hair ain't that spikey...
