That is a cool name for a cool guy. XD I much rather call him J though. Sounds a bit cooler.

So do you think bishies look better in anime or manga?
 
I tend to think manga has hotter guys.
 
Manga guys are the hottest that is for sure.

I would think bishies will look hotter in manga than the anime. Well they still hot in the anime. It is just in the manga...I don't know. XD

Well the my top ten bishies are(not in order):

1. Renji Abarai - Bleach
2. Ichigo Kurosaki - Bleach
3. Naruto Uzumaki - Naruto
4. Atsushi Otani - Lovely Complex
5. Sasuke Uchila - Naruto
6. Edward Elric - FMA
7. Zero Kiryuu - Vampire Knight
8. Kei Takishima - Special A
9. Ranma Saotome - Ranma 1/2
10. Rock Lee - Naruto

As you can see, I haven't read a lot of manga to know more of bishies. That is all I could think of.

I'm showing my face here again... and shocking you people with the fact that I've fallen in love with a Shounen Manga. XD
Yup, a pure Shounen manga/anime that goes under the names of Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X (OVA).

There's something in that manga/anime that's irrisestable... and all of the main characters are intriguing in their own way.

Saitou Hajime, for example, isn't exactly what you call "handsome". But his intriguing personality put him in my top 5 of RuroKen anime characters... Wait. *counts* Make that 7... I hate putting fav characters in order. XD So, its kinda random.
He's based on the actualy Saitou Hajime, leader of the 3rd unit of the Shinsengumi during the Bakumatsu. They addapted his story quite well in the manga/anime. They even got his wife right. (hilarious part in the series)
Saitou:"I'll bring the boy to Tokio"
Kenshin: "Tokio?"
Saitou: "My wife."
Misao: "YOU'RE MARRIED?"
Kenshin: "ORO?"
Kenshin: "She must be a great person to be able to deal with his attitude."
Misao: "Or better, she must be a Buddha!"

Sanosuke Sagara, again, personality, behaviour and he looks nice. Always with the fish/stick in his mouth. He's part of the good guys, but with bad attitude. Sano is much more likeable than Saitou. You just can't hate the guy, you can't! Sano's lives by the way of "hit first, then talk". Kinda. A lot...

Kenshin Himura. HE'S ADORABLE! (as in cute, not handsome. XD In the entire manga there's only one picture where I called him "handsome"... and that was in his Hitokiri (assassin) days.) I kinda prefer his art of the OVA... but him going "oro" in the manga/anime is so hilarious and makes him so cute. *3*
I have a plushie of Kenshin... and its just as adorable.

Yahiko Miyôjin But only in the OVA. He's got character... during the whole series he was a great addition to the Kenshingumi. He's the person who has yet to grow and has so many possibilities laying in store for him.... He's a 10 year old in the series, but in the OVA he's over 20, and damn cute. *3*

Seijûro Hikô From one extreme to another. Kenshin's teacher is 43, although he doesn't look like it. There's something in that man that's lovable. He's got attitude and style. His over-muscular body doesn't really bug me, although the Manga-ka said that he'd gotten fanletters from female readers who were deeply disappointed with his body after seeing his handsome face.

Shinomori Aoshi
Part of the Oniwabanshû (Onmitsu, Spies, Ninjas), he directly caught my eyes from the first scene in the manga. He seems calm, collected, cool, but there's a fire raging inside of him. I can see clearly why Misao's got a crush on him.

As for the girls, I prefer Misao over Kaoru... but that's not really necessairy in this topic.

Even though I can't choose a n°1,2,3,..., I see Kenshin, Sano and Hiko (and spoiler guy) as my top favs. Then there's all the rest, and those that I don't care about... well, I don't care about them. XD

And what a lovely list, Mudkipblader! I need to finish up Kenshin as well. So far I only watched up Episode 36 of the first one. And I seen one of the movies.

Just a quick edit for the Ruroken Anime and Manga for that matter.
Anime: 94 episodes
Tsuikuhen OVA (aka Trust and Betrayal): 4 episodes
Seisouhen OVA (aka reflection): 2 episodes
Rurouni Kenshin; Ishin Shishi no requiem (aka The Movie - Requiem of the Patriots)
Manga: 28 volumes
Afterstory: "Cherryblossoms in Spring" and "Yahiko's Sakabatou"
It's deffinitally worth seeing and reading all. Since the second half of the anime basically are made-up stories that have no connection with the manga at all. The last episode of Kyoto is the last common point of both the Anime and manga. I'm not saying it's not worth watching the last 30 episodes of the anime, some are really funny, or exciting. In one of the "arcs" they use music from the Movie, I recognised it straight away. It's pretty. Also, after the Kyoto arc ends in the Manga, it continues with the Jinchuu (punishment by man) Arc, which is, imo a shame that it never got properly animated. The Seisouhen OVA covers a little of it, but a lot, and I mean A LOT, is left out.

I think my current top 2 (SO hard to pick just one!) are:
~Hikaru Hitachiin (Ouran High School Host Club)
~Kyo Sohma (Fruits Basket)

Whoa. I got a thing for red heads right now or something. Haha.

Uhm, yes, I'm usually into guys with Purple eyes. Strange fact, but most of my bishies have purple or purpleblue eyes. XD (Dark, Ichiru, Kenshin, Kai, Hikitsu) Well, let me rephrase that, most of the bishies I hang on to have purple, purple blue eyes. :3
So, If I may ask questions, I have one:

Do you have a characteristic that you find in most of your bishies? Or are they not at all related? (as in, they have nothing in comon)

Sometimes I do. I like a lot of not so smart but really sweet guys. XD

Um. For the most part, they usually have nothing in common. Like, I think I like the sorta angry guys and the goofball guys best. Which those are kind of opposites.
But the perfect host-types don't appeal to me as much. Except Tamaki (ouran)! He's one of my faves, but he's more of the flawless prince kinda guy.
On the other hand, yuki sohma (fruits basket), is also a prince type, but I don't really like him. No offense to anyone!
So I guess my bishies are just... RANDOM. Haha. T_T
