I've been...playing around with WC08 lately, and certain cards in the game allowed me to make this little beauty you see here, that is as fun to play with as it is weird to look at:

    Monsters: 22

2x Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8
    1x Tyrant Dragon
    1x White Night Dragon

    2x Cyber Dragon
3x Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6

    1x Marshmallon
    1x Spirit Reaper
    1x Snipe Hunter
    1x Sangan
    3x Mystic Tomato
    3x Lord of D.
    3x The Dark Hex-Sealed Fusion

    Spells: 12
    2x Creature Swap
    2x Dragon's Mirror
    1x Gold Sarcophagus
    1x Heavy Storm
    1x MST
    2x Nobleman of Crossout
    1x Pot of Avarice
    1x Premature Burial
    1x Swords of Revealing Light

    Traps: 6
    1x Crush Card Virus
    2x Royal Decree
    3x Solemn Judgement

    Fusion Deck:
2x Evil Hero Dark Gaia (2 random Dark Calling currently make up the Side Deck)
    2x Five-Headed Dragon
    3x King Dragun

Before you ask, yes it actually works. I can count on one hand the number of times it's failed while it has something like a 60+ win record. Basically a KD-based swarm w/Horus-Decree locking, with the monster lineup making Dragun's summoning something akin to that of SPoN (without the recursion, of course). The idea of making a 2-tribute monster a 0-tribute instantly was just plain too attractive to ignore.

Now, I'm not looking to make this into a Tier 1 or anything, but if there are any suggestions/comments/bits of criticism that aren't elitist, please share.

So...is Herald of Creation available? Because if it is, I'd consider it here. You've got a pretty low dragon count, so some help with getting those big dragons within reach of Dragun's effect would probably pay off, not to mention that Herald adds a low-level beatstick to help keep the game under control. Besides, that way you could easily get away with running a solitary Horus LV 8 since Herald can fish it out whenever you need it (Personally I'd say screw LV 8 and just focus on the 'plunk down big S/T resistant dragons on the field' aspect, but that's just me). Finally, Herald would let you run Trade-In to help you reach your combo pieces more consistently. I'd also say cut one Lord of D. You've already got three tomatoes, sangan, and a coffer to get your hands on the other two, and Lord of D. is really not a card you want to draw in multiples. Considering that your primary aim is to rush, I also find it slightly odd that you're running two copies Creature Swap. The only monsters you really want to swap are Sangan and Tomato, and that only adds up to four monsters in total. I'd say cut one Creature Swap for something a bit more generally helpful.

Finally, Solemn Judgment looks a bit expensive since the card in most dire need of protection here is the one that negates solemn to begin with. So...umm, what's this card that you're so keen on covering? x.O I also find myself wondering where Mirror Force is. You might well find yourself in a situation where you'd want to protect either Lord of D. or Hex-Sealed until you get its partner out on the field, and Mirror Force does precisely that. Besides, Mirror Force is really the kind of card where you need a very good rationale for not using it.

Oh...and I just have to ask: what precisely are you planning on fusing Dark Gaia with? Snipe Hunter + Hex-Sealed only makes for a measly 2500 Atk which doesn't look that tempting considering that you've already got some potential dead draws to account for.

But yeah, I can't test this so there's only so much I can say about it.

Yeah, Herald's available, but I had overlooked it because it required the monster to be in the Graveyard to begin with, which usually doesn't happen. Just 1 LV8 isn't really wanted, either, as I like having an extra as a backup in case my first one goes away somehow and I can't fish it back quickly, but on the other hand, Herald being in would make that better.

Funny you mention these together, as that extra Lord of D. is generally used for that 2nd Creature Swap. ;) Helps give my big beatsticks a path to the opponent's LP when they have a wall or something set up *coughMarshmalloncough* and I generally want to get Dark Hex-Sealed out with Tomato. That way, even if I don't have Lord of D. in my hand (which having three of them helps make unlikely), I still have a nice little monster that walls out ANYTHING recruitable, Banisher, and Breaker w/o counter.

Solemn...is a semi-replacement for Dragun in case I end up getting Horus out first (which happens quite a bit, actually). There's also those random Effect Monsters that I might want to stop from going through, such as Grand Mole, Marshmallon, and Morphing Jar. As for Mirror Force, I have no idea why it isn't in here yet. I guess I just skipped over it while I was digging through the card list. :P

It's just a random idea in case I'm facing a deck with Fiends. Not much more than that.

    So...

    -1 Horus LV8
    -1 Lord of D.
    -1 Solemn Judgment

    +2 Herald of Creation
    +1 Mirror Force

I'll see how that works. Thanks.
