5th Gen Black 2 and White 2, catching mechanics and RNG.

    Hello, can someone help me? Was trying to TAS pokemon black 2 and while testing things using save states i noted that when i threw pokeballs, no matter how many time i loaded a state i would never catch a pokemon. From playing with save states using emulators on older gens i know that the game decide if you will catch a pokemon(at least in my experience, I might be wrong) when you throw a pokeball not at the start of the turn. Is this the case in gen 5 where its decided if you catch a pokemon at the start of the turn or am I just seeing things?
