    Flaws ive seen:

Since we are in beta stages im not puttin much ground on it, but from what ive seen, the games are HORRIBLY over pixelated...
i know its bigger than the DS screen, but even then....
    its pretty choppy& crappy
they seriously need a blur filter cuz the buildings looked unnatural
    & the circles were blocky...

    Awesomeness:

of course its awesome its in 3D
    the fully animated sprites
the desert dunes made my mouth drop
and the bridge sequence was pretty impressive

You can't exactly have PSP graphics on the DS. If you look closely, the DS screen is made up of tiny little squares. Each square has a color, and that's what makes up the graphics. So, you can't exactly hate on the game designers too much, even though, I believe that they COULD improve the graphics, but not by much.
Expect better graphics on the 3DS..

Additionally, Pokemon games aren't the only ones with overly pixelated graphics, i.e. the Final Fantasy 3 and 4 remakes.

does it really matter? Just enjoy the games

The only things i can see, which it know they will fix, are the circles the pokemon stand on in battles, they're all chunky!

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THIS >.<

But i really like the new attack scenes.

Finally tackle may actually be a tackle...

The only problem is that the back-sprites are a bit pixellated. The rest looks good while in motion.

Hopefully they either fix the back-sprites or it doesn't look as bad on a DS screen.

This is because they are animated, and screenshots are stills. You can only have full animation or clear pixels, not both.

There's nothing crappy about it, as said it's because they're moving and they use a technique similar to puppetry to move the sprites without pixelling each individual pose from scratch. Again, looks great in motion.

A blur filter would look disgusting. Blur almost always looks horrible, unless it's depth of field.

Those are called pixels, practically every screen in the world works this way. Including the PSP.

    Sprites =! "overly pixelated". . :/

all that you said except the last was mute, cuz my observation was from the VIDEOS
not the pictures, try not to make false assumptions.

-_-" seriously, no duh, but if you look at PSP, exc. most of their pixels look good
    this beta is seriously lackin.

    and
"A blur filter would look disgusting. Blur almost always looks horrible, unless it's depth of field."
Still make perfect sense even if you were referring to the videos.

Nice not being able to counter and ignoring everything I said instead.

Also, the term beta means all features are implemented. They are not going to re-sprite everything, especially after videos have been shown.

you clearly dont understand a blur filter its to smooth out the blurs not create them thats what a FILTER does.

not really, you implied i meant photos, but in video it looks bad too

I don't understand because that's an odd way of putting it, as in graphics terms a blur filter would generally be something that adds blur, as opposed to something that "filters" it but I see what you mean now.
Which is kind of weird as nothing in the videos is actually blurred.

Also they look great. If you think we should go back to mediocre battle-scenes that have absolutely no animation then by all means let's do that, obviously that looks much better!

But I've come to the conclusion there's really little point discussing this as your views on graphics seem to be very skewed and illogical.

The overworlds don't seem to be up to par though.

your twistin my words tryin to make urself right when your clearly wrong, stop bein an arrogant prick.

anyone with eyes can see the buildings move unnaturally,& need time to load cuz it isnt filtered correctly.

    I'm not twisting anything.
If you look wrong it's simply your own doing, no-one else's.

Now calm down, there is no need to be rude. There is nothing arrogant about me disagreeing with your odd methods of deduction regarding graphics.

"anyone with eyes can see the buildings move unnaturally"
Anyone with a brain can see that's an opinion, not a fact.

"need time to load cuz it isnt filtered correctly."
ITT: telling game devs they're doin' it wrong.

-_- i really hate arrogant people who cant admit their wrong.

    Think what you will.

You are being childish and arrogant, and I am done here.

yay your gone,no more arrogant fool actin liek he knows everythin :D

i can tell ur arrogant cuz of ur title is "im right"
only an arrogant fool would put that

    The awesomez:
    -Third person view
-Pokemon are animated when not battling
-The attacks (in the previews at least) are really awesome :D

    Flaws:
-Like most people, the circles around the Pokemon, it looks like its made of MegaBlocks
-The camera views look a bit odd, I don't know, just isn't 100% right.

    flame waaaaars lol

but seriously though who cares? we each hav diff opinions on this why fight about it? no one is gonna get proven right or wrong cuz its an Opinion.

Anyways i for one personally love the graphics, i dont hate a single thing about them :) well yea i wish they were psp standard at least but the DS isnt capable of doing that :p
