    Hey, I'm HSX, a complete Pokemon ROM hacking n00b. I love the manga and plan on making a hack for it (I realize some people are doign it already, but I wish to try it out on my own). I have no experience (exept with Advance Map, which is, of course, not that much), but I'm going to try anyway and practice. Wish me luck. :3

    On an unrelated note: I might need help with this pallet junk. I'm trying to give Red's overworld sprite an alternate pallet but I don't now how to use one I added to Fire Red's free space. :U

    Most people who find their way to the ROM Hacking section here at PC are a little wet behind the ears when it comes to hacking. Don't worry, I'm sure you will get the hang of it.

    As for changing Red's overworld pallet, I would suggest checking out the Documents and Tutorials sub-forum if you haven't already done so. I'm fairly certain there is a thread or two on that subject.
