Blissey - Physical wall?

Shuckle will usually survive the hit however.

Most barely. If even. With pitiful HP, & now pitiful defense, I highly doubt it. Being walled by Forry only adds to that.

Well, Shuckle could survive the hit, use Power Swap, and your other pokemon could then use Trick Room.

Therefore losing Power Swap, when you switch for that other poke to use Trick Room. You now have to switch back to Shuckle, reuse Power Swap, & get KOed the first turn you use it by Earthquake.

This is all showing why Blissey is better than Shuckle. Shuckle needs to hope & pray it can do something good. While Blissey can enjoy her throne.

I'm talking about double battles.

I'm talking about double battles.

Not many people even bother with double battles. That's not a true blue defensive arguement, & not even comparable to what Blissey can do. If Shuckle needs a partner to survive, there is a problem. Especially when both opponents will gang up on the poor fool.

Good point, but Shuckle is irrelevant to this topic and so we should talk about Blissey. I simply posted a moveset that was actually decent for him so everyone would stop arguing about his defensive role.

As I said, you originally compared Blissey & Shuckle in the very first post. Now everyone is stating why Blissey is better than Shuckle. You said Blissey has poor Def, but great HP. Shukle is the opposite. Why is Blissey being used for physical while Shuckle is pupt in the dust?

Which was the jist of the first sentence.\\
therefore, lots of people went off about the comparison. Until some people actually started defending Shuckle.

But your Blissey defense question has been answered.

Just to answer that question:

CBTar

Max Def Blissey is a must, no way to avoid it, it has to be done. Most pokemon try to model there attacks on max def Blissey, and without max Def Blissey is just as worthless as a physical walling Rampardos. Though Bold isn't necessary, because Calm Blissey's are indefinately always better.

And the guys who said Blissey doesn't need Calm or SpDef EVs, I'm going over the intrawebz to slap you right now.

Underlined and italisized (wow, terrible spelling O_o) is a VERY true statement.

Blisset doesn't need SDef EVs though. Bold blissey >>>> Calm Blissey though. I don't run max HP on mine anymore though. The BEST defensive blissey is max Def, enough HP to reach 701 (I'm a numbers freak, sue me) and the rest in SDef.

But what the heck is with this shuckle thing? Um, Shuckle is good for knocking off an item and then dying.

Blissey is /THE/ best special wall in the game EVER and can compete in the uber tier. Tell me which is better.

BTW, power trick/power swap shuckle is a joke.
