Is there any way to properly block a member so they can't VM me? Just adding them to my ignore list isn't going to help because if their VM is there I am going to read it and reply, so as not to be ignorant, but I don't want to get into any more flame wars and get into trouble. If someone is being annoying I'd rather be able to just stop them contacting me.
Oh and also I don't want to have my VMs limited to only friends because then other people won't be able to contact me.

Limit your VMs to Members only and you'll have no problem. :)

There's no way to block a single member's VMs. Your choices are to set your VMs to either contacts/friends or staff only. All you can do beyond that is to try your best to ignore and/or delete the VM, and contact an upper-class staff member if said member harasses you with VMs.

Yes, I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I care.

Truality that is false. What Xyrin said is true actually. If you go to Profile Privacy on the UserCP, set VMs to "Registered Members" not "Everyone" and put said person on your ignore list they won't be able to VM you.

My bad, well I guess you learn something new everyday. D:
