A few months ago. I lost the ability to capture gameplay for my XBOX games because, what appears to be, a problem with one of the programs that came standard with my capture card.

After all but closing my YouTube channel. I took one more shot last week. Getting ready to reinstall the program that refused to record gameplay footage with out dropping over 1,000 frames in the span of 2 minutes, while looking through the FAQ on the website where I was going to get the original program. I found another program for the capture card. That focused more on capture and less on editing.

So what I did was downloaded that instead of the program I had used originally.

When I started up I realized that the video feed from the XBOX onto the computer wasn't lagging at all. Skeptical I began recording some simple footage. (Moving my cursor on the XBOX dashboard.) Still! No lag!

I've recorded up to 30 minutes of gameplay and not one second through the entire recording, was there a frame dropped.

So I'm happy and entirely grateful that I can record again!

    :D
