Suggestion: Blog Notification

Here we go again.

So, what would be interesting is if we could be notified when someone has commented to our blogs like we are notified about VM's. I mean, it would be easier in a way that you wouldn't need to go back and check for comments every now and then. Most of us are pretty joyous when we get a reply, am I right?

Yes! I agree 100%. I was thinking of asking for this for quite some time. But I do find it annoying having to go check my blog to see if there's something new. I'd love to be notified, especially when I post the important ones...like when I look for help for the many things I need help with. XD

For every reply to a blog post? For some people, blog notifications could mean about ten notifications will need to be dismissed each day. It could get annoying. (Don't suggest "unread entries" either, because unless you wait for them to stack up, you still will need to dismiss several in a day.)

I've signed on to around 40+ notifications before. So...10 really isn't that bad, plus you don't necessarily have to reply to all the comments in a blog. Just wanted to point that out.

It feels like the other thread about this didn't take place all that long ago.. o_o

Anyhoo, I don't see how it adding to the number of notifications someone gets is bad. May be annoying for some I suppose, but some people also enjoy getting notifications. So it can go either way, I guess. & If there were an option to turn them off, then it could be win-win for everyone. xD

I'm totally for this, though.

To be fair, I'm sure the people getting 10+ comments overnight will be in the minority. Most people would get a handful, realistically (is that even how you spell that?).

I enjoy recieving notifications. Even if its just 3. Yes, the majority of us wouldn't get a thwad of replies.
