    What are the requirements to be able to post a blog?
     
    Having over 5000 posts.

    Since this seems to be something you're truly wondering about, Mence Master, I suggest you read this thread. Jake and Steve pretty much explain everything to various people including why the post count was selected as such and various ways of getting a blog, as stated by others here. (Blog question introduced at post #13)
