ok everytime i breed them i get a egg and i cant give anything to the egg so how do i hatch the egg then?

You have the egg in your party, and you walk. After so many hundreds of steps, your egg will hatch. You can check it's status in the Summary page.

Remember you can do other things while waiting for eggs to hatch, but they must be somewhere in your squad or they won't hatch

Just get your bike out and go up and down in a city for about 3 minutes or so.
It's faster than walking.

And don't forget you cannot battle with eggs. So if you don't have strong pokemon ready, don't get into battles.
