When you breed pokemon, and use a ditto, will the baby's gender be the same as the pokemon used with the ditto? Or, will it be random?

Its random, I used to think that myself, but after many breeding sessions I learned thats its random.

Gender is completely random. The only thing thats definite when breeding is the species of the pokemon.
