Breloom Question

    I have resently seen the power of Breloom, and i have a question about the Poison Barb and his Poison Heal ability. Will he still get hurt from the poison, or will that just be replaced by healing instead of hurting? Also, Should I use Facade or Stone Edge?
     
    The Poison Barb just boost Poison moves' power. It doesn't poison you. You're thinking of the Toxic Orb. Anyway I'm sure that you would take the poison damage, then heal with the ability. But I think you should try it first just in case.
     
    If he has the Poison Heal ability give him the Toxic Orb so that he will become poisoned and heal himself (I don't think the ability works out of battle though). Also, a good moveset is:

    Spore
    Focus Punch
    Seed Bomb
    Stone Edge
     
    It heals you, I battled someone witha breloom and I got curious when they were healing so I investigated a little and found out some interesting stuff. So yeah, it does heal you.
     
    Does it just heal? or does it hurt you, then it heals with his ability? Sry about the Poison Barb, Toxic orb mix-up, my mistake.
     
    The Poison Heal ability won't let your Pokémon get hurt by the poison so it will heal Breloom. It's used like a replacement Leftovers.
     
    Thats great! That also means that while he is poisoned, he cant be given other stats effects. Thx for all the help guys. I orginially had Breloom with Stone Edge, but then i saw someone with a Facade, and wondered if that was a good idea or not.
     
    Ya. I bet Swellow is a decent UU poke. It would probably be annoying if i had to fight one.
     
    I have been swept by one with protect, a toxic orb and facade. It didn' even have to power up. The I remembered, oh yeah, tangrowth so I brought him out and leech seeded him, he used brave bird and took my health halfway down I switched to my yanmega and used protect he got faster than him while healing and took him down muahahahahah.

    That's not possible because Breloom doesn't learn Brave Bird. <.<
     
    Yeah but if you had been reading vainz started to talk about swellow and i quote
