Brock Sucks.

Meh, true, he never as bred anything, but I think he's useful as a map
 
I personally likr brock he is one on my favorite characters im not telling you why because the moron who posted theis thread wont tell us why he hates him why should i say why i like him
 
Brock is awesome. He adds humor to the show, plus I think Ash's & Dawn's journey would fall apart without him. I don't think Ash or Dawn can cook. xD

Without Brock, Ash and May would probably have been dead

Without Brock, there would be no "So I herd u liek Mudkipz?"

Without Brock, We wouldn't know there was a nice variety of Idiots in this world.

Without Brock, Pokeshippers would be happy, then suffer their Arceus off in Season 5.

I rest my case.

I hate that, for some reason, he is still smarter than Ash. Ash has been traveling for years and he is still some-what naive on the subject of Pokemon, contests, etc. I'm not saying that Ash should be smarter, but he should be just as smart as Brock, that is, due to the fact that Brock has been giving advice to him for years.

That's actually pretty useful to me; that is, since I'm great with maps.

I some-what disagree. I think he does give great information and advice concerning battle strategies. I wouldn't call that "analytical comments".
But like I said above, with all of Ash's experience he is still outsmarts Ash by too much.

About the maps, he used to get them lost ALL the time in Indigo League (and Johto too, I think? Would explain the fillers). The only time Brock upped his game was in AG where he feared he would be replaced by a POKENAV.

I don't really agree with people making flame posts or threads, but, I kinda have to side with Jorah and Kabigon.

I mean, no offense to Brock or his fanbase, but he really does less in regards to the group as a whole (I won't say he does NOTHING, since, being the literal person I am, I have seen him do SOME things, for his credit.).

Plus, in regards to cooking, even if he is a seven-star chef, that shouldn't be used as an excuse to keep him on (especially since, as many others, including myself, have stated, Ash and Misty didn't starve to death in the OI, nor did they starve in Viridian Forest [then again, considering the fact that there was a campfire in the third episode, I think that they can cook (or at least Misty).].).

Also, If he wanted to be a breeder, then wouldn't he, well, you know, ACTUALLY breed his pokemon (I mean, the #1 rule of breeding is that you breed.). I mean, Pokemon breeding is... well... is kids suited material (I mean, Disney admitted that the only reason why they got away with sex in "Lady and the Tramp" is because it was Dogs performing the act, not Humans.). And besides, it's not like Brock chasing after girls is any more kid friendly.

speaking of his going after girls, I think it was a very bad attempt at humor (since, despite my being of the same gender as him, I felt that was sexist, both towards us guys AND towards females).

And anyways, I really cannot consider him the wisest of the group (I mean, Max and Misty were able to solve more problems than him). I mean, He falls for Team rockets disguises a LOT (If he were as wise as everyone claims, why must he fall for the disguises? I mean, I can understand Ash, since he isn't supposed to be the brains of the group, but Brock... Come ON!!) I mean, the only time he MIGHT have seen through a disguise was probably in the Indigo League (Involving TR posing as Nurses), which even then, the way he reacted when he said that he saw through JJ's Disguises seemed more like he was saving face.

sigh... I hate having to respond to this thread, but, oh well, I guess I might as well live with it. I really hate having to mention things like this.

I'm not saying he sucks, BTW, I just think he wasn't quite on the level.

Brock doesn't suck, he's just become boring over the years.

I wish they would replace him
 
I loved Brock in the first 2 seasons, then his character started going downhill and now... he's so flat. I can't stand him now because I remember how he was before. T_T
 
He is going downhill... he barely has any Pokemon, and even if he does he never uses them because they suck so badly! most pokemon breeders have a full party of 6 GOOD pokemon... he's a piece of
@%#$ nowadays...
 
I have noticed that Brock is less perverted in the classic episodes and movies.

He really needs to get more time on screen. He'd be so much better.

I like to remember the good times he's had.

It's just annoying how he's on in every season.

They can replace him with somebody else, and the way he flirts with every pretty girl gets really boring to me. He doesn't have to cook for the gang all the time.

Just look at how Ash and Misty got through the Viridian Forest and the Orange Islands without him. So basically, Ash, May, and Dawn wouldn't die. But Brock was okay in the Advanced Generation Series. I got mad when he turned out to be part of the main cast in DP. What is it with Brock following Ash, like, 24/7?

To be honest, Brock is just getting old to me.

But yeah; Brock was pretty cool in the old series. Lol I used to love his obsessions over every female in the seires (plus that Johto song he sang was HILLARIOUS! XD). But then it just got to the point where it had repeated itself way too much and well..got kinda annoying. : (
