Brock vs Paul

    Well since Ash seems to have trouble defeating paul in a battle do you think Brock would have more success in defeating him.

    Ive listed all Brocks pokemon and chosen who i think they could beat from Pauls team.

    Sudowoodo/Steelix/Geodude - Electabuzz, Magmortar, Weavile, Honchkrow, Ninjask
    Marshtomp/Ludicolo - Magmortar, Nidoking, Lairon
    Crobat - Torterra
    Croagunk - Ursaring

    From this i think Brock would have more than enough power to defeat Paul in a normal battle.
    Whats your opinion?
     
    Even tho i have only watched 1 episode of sinnoh, by looking at these pokemon Paul>Brock

    lol Brock is so pro, he could defeat Team Galactic, Cynthia, Paul, and all the Gym Leaders just with his Happiny.

    But in all seriousness, if they ever did battle (tho i imagine it would be between Brock ande Reggie) Brock would win.
     
    I'm sure Geodude would do just fine, but it would help own more if it was a Graveler or a Golem. It would be cool to see him battle Paul in a three on three battle, gym leader style.

    I think that's a pretty good balance. I say he would do just fine in a battle against Paul.
     
    Well from looking at that. I think Shinji could hold his own against Takeshi, but I doubt those two would ever battle.
    Hell Magmortar would blow Geodude, Sudowoodo and possibly Steelix away.
    Electabuzz could pulverize Ludicolo and probably have a hard time with Marshtomp, but since Shinji is all about brute force, I think Electabuzz would pull through.

    Ursaring would kill Croagunk like he did Pikachu, but probably not as bad, since Shinji is somewhat on good terms with Takeshi (which might I say was awesome. That bear just made my day when he did that to Pikatwerp >w<)
    Torterra's a beast, he'd probably be able to hold his own againts Crobat, those two could probably be at it for a while.

    So I think Shinji would have the hardest time with.

    Crobat.
    Marshtomp.
    Steelix.

    All the others would be murdered >_>;;;
     
    I think Brock would win. But, Paul beat Kanto's Gyms so he should know a lot of Brock's tactics (I'm not sure if he battled him or his dad, but you get my point).

    I think Brock would pull through because he'll play it safe while Paul will be reckless and end up losing.
     
    I'd love to see that. I think Brock is a little better than Ash when it comes to strategy. [Remember his tag battle with Ash against TR? loved it] But the battle would be a lot more even than Ash's battle[ and getting murdered]. Brock is underused...
     
    Takeshi isn't really a pushover. I would expect him to be able to hold his ground in a match against Shinji, but I think eventual Shinji would win.
     
    Paul would win but he also deserves a slap in the face.
     
    Paul by a long shot. Brock is far less rash than Ash but Ash is a better battler. I could see Paul using only Ursaring and Magmortor[?] since Brock's Pokémon are mainly Rock-type Pokémon and a Steel-type Pokémon.
     
    Brock with his pokemon could win against paul but as a character brock is a bit of a push over to win he would have to revert back to Gym leader state of mind not breeded
     
    Brock just always seems to know what hes doing.
    I say he'd win.
     
    Brock he is alesome. He is so good. He is my favorite trainer.
