There were many questions I had about the Pokemon anime growing up, and one was what happened to Brock's family as he was traveling with Ash? Was the gym getting better, were his siblings thinking of becoming Pokemon trainers themselves? I wish we had more of a backstory on Brock's dad, I wonder why he was hiding from Brock in the first place? Also, where was his mom, Lola when Brock was taking care of his siblings? The whole thing seemed strange to me.
I know that Flint (Brock's dad) and Lola were fighting to see who would be in charge of the gym at a later episode. Flint would lose to Lola, but Brock would defeat Lola and give the gym back to his father. Ultimately, a water/rock type gym would be formed which would be a tough combination imo. I think that one day one of Brock's siblings will take over the gym!
