    Hey guys, a couple questions.

    1. What online features does Heartgold/Soulsilver support? Is it just basic trading and battling?

    2. Do you need to have a person's friend code in order to communicate with them online? Is there a plaza or something where players can gather without individually exchanging friend codes? I probably sound like a pedophile or something, but I just think that browsing online forums in search of friend codes is a bit tedious.

    3. How would you rate the HG/SSs' online features? I've got a router, but apparently it's too "advanced" or something. It's listed as connection 4, which can't be used with games. So I'd have to spend $30 to buy an official nintendo wifi router.

    1. HeartGold and SoulSilver, like DPPt, offer both battles, trades, events, and communication via Wi-Fi and Wireless connection.

    2. Yes, before going on Wi-Fi to battle or trade, you will need your Friend's Friend Code, otherwise you two couldn't locate each other through Wi-Fi in the game. There is a Wi-Fi Plaza and it is identical to that of the one in Platinum. Basically it all works the same.

    3. As an individual, a rate the online features quite well, however others may think differently.

    and ...

    4. Please use the HG/SS Help Thread for questions.
