4th Gen Cameos?

    Well.
    You saw many cameos of GSC in D/P/PL.

    • Jasmine gives you Waterfall
    • [PokeCommunity.com] Cameos?
      on the news
    • "Burnt Tower" references
    • Ho-Oh/Lugia references
    I would be willing to bet my bottom dollar that one of the Characters from Gen 3 or 4 will end up being in Johto/Kanto for no apparent reason!

    What do you think?
     
    If so, then it just might be one of the Gym Leaders perhaps. Maybe a Hoenn Gym Leader, to hint off a RSE remake in the next 3 or 4 years? xD

    I think it'd be kinda cool actually.

    But the cameos you mentioned probably aren't hinting that a newer-gen character will be in GSDS, rather they're hinting that there IS a GSDS.

    EDIT: Or maybe Jasmine will mention her recent visit to Sinnoh, or something small like that.

    @Mumei - I know they're hinting at HGSS, but I'm just saying I'm sure some characters will be around in Johto.
     
    I think they'll wait 'til 5th Gen to allude to a RSE remake. As for HGSS, the only cameos I want are more characters from the manga.
     
    Hey, I only said about 3 - 4 years, maybe more. Though, yes, if Jasmine mentions her trip to Sinnoh, that would be cool to hear from. I too would like to see some manga people show up as a cameo.
     
    After you beat Whitney, she could say how she's still a new Leader, and that she got her Miltank from the old Leader that moved to Hoenn. This would also sort out the question of where Hoenn falls in the timeline.

    But I don't think Jasmine will mention her trip, as the Red Gyarados has already appeared at the start of DPPt, so Gold has already beaten her.
     
    I think it would be pretty cool if Prof. Rowan makes a cameo in the Kanto, like Prof. Oak made a cameo in DPPt.

    Maybe they are trying to make it look like the regional professors actually do visit each other?

    It's possible for the Rowan to come by. He can also possibly introduce you with a useful item, such as the Pokéradar...
     
    Riley...Hmm, that would explain where he went off to after he left Iron Island.
     
    I'd love a gen 4 cameo to appear in these. I can't think of anyone exactly, but the idea of Rowan appearing would be nice and somewhat fit. :D
     
    That's what I was thinking. Wasn't it also said that Rowan had went off that four years to the Kanto region I believe?
     
    Or we could Cynthia and Lucien make aperance and battle them with your support chracter in a double battle

    If that were to happen, then the Supporting character better be tough, because there is a habit that supporting character's Pokémon are sometimes weak. So, to go up against two strong trainers like that in a double battle, it'll have to come good.
