lol Gunner this is my first failure of a thread. But welcome!

What made you read the Percy Jackson series?

Well, it all started out at our school library. We were doing a book report, and at that time, I had no idea about the Percy Jackson stories -- I've heard of them, but I've never read a chapter. Fortunately for me, my best friend pointed me to the Fiction section and I found the Lightning Thief. I've read it, then aced my book report, then fell in love with the series.

I bought my own copy of the Lightning Thief and I plan on buying more.

What made you read the Percy Jackson series?
Well, I went down to my local library to find a book to read, and just found it there and thought I'd give it a go. Ever since, I've been captivated by the series and recently finished the newest book from the second series, The Mark of Athena. I absolutely hate the film though, as it a) followed next to none of the book's plot and b) ruined my imagination to what Camp Half-Blood looked like. I watched it and had to quickly pick up the nearest copy of a Percy Jackson book and read it again to re-establish my imagination.

What made you read the Percy Jackson series?

I was at home recovering from surgery for a week, and my dad got me The Lightning Thief so I'd have something to read. After the first chapter I thought "Oh my god, this is amazing!"
