I've just recently become interested in Rom hacking, and I'm not sure what to do to start with.
I'm not very good at progamming as of now, and I don't know what programs to use.

Think about what you wanna do and search for tutorials about that.

I second YouTube tutorials, especially if you are a visual learner.
But yeah you pretty much learn one thing at a time until you know everything you need to know to make your full hack and then you do it.
That's what I'm doing.
