4th Gen can anyone help?

i'm not sure if this is in the right place, but, if someone were to battle me and they sent out an eevee, would that eevee be added to my 'seen' pokedex? i ask this because i want to trade my starter for an eevee so i can breed them, as i don't see any of the new starters as very nice looking, and that really matters to me... so would that work? or would anyone be able to trade me one?

p.s. i ask this because i do not want to have to wait to beat the elite four and get the national pokedex to receive an eevee, which is a long way away seeing as i have not started my game...

k i think you can get get with out the national pokedex.im not sure.go to hearthome city and go to the building right next to the pokemon center and go inside.there should be a girl on the computer.talk to her and shell give you on.(i think but im pretty sure im right.)

you need the national dex to get the Eevee from Bebe.

i'm a bit sad today because my old nintendo ds, the original one, lost it's sound today when i was cleaning it... it's upside down on my windowsill and i hope that it's sound will come back, the problem is with my speakers as i can still listen to it with headphones, can anyone help?

i'm going to start my game in two days, and once i have beaten the first gym leader, would somebody be able to swap an eevee for my starter, which will probably be turtwig, or if someone would be so generous, perhaps swap it for a random catch?
