This is from Pokemon Fire Red, by the way.

    1: Type: Charizard
    Name: Riku
    Level: 47
Moveset: Fly, Blast Burn, Flamethrower, Cut

    2: Type: Haunter
    Name: Galen
    Level: 47
Moveset: Psychi, Shadow Punch, Toxic, Shadow Ball

    3: Type: Graveler
    Name: Marie
    Level: 45
Moveset: Rock Blast, Metronome, Strength, Earthquake

    4: Type: Lapras
    Name: Charisma
    Level: 45
Moveset: Surf, Body Slam, Ice Beam, Hail

    5: Type: Raichu
    Name: Rene
    Level: 48
Moveset: Thunderbolt, Double-Edge, Mega Kick, Double Team

6: I actually haven't decided yet. Right now I have a level 27 Butterfree in this slot that I'm trying to level up.

So, do you people think that I could possibly beat the Elite Four and my rival with this time? What do you suggest I do to shape it up?

Level > all in game. Your chance of success is almost solely dependent on your level. The higher, the better.

Errr...0_o LV 40 pokemon just won't do it. Train all of them to at least LV 55.

actally you can beat the E4 and rival with a level 40 team or even a level 35 team IF and ONLY IF you have got them with 31 DV's in primary attacking stat (special attack or attack) and high speed. also you need to EV train them the right way (EV's in the correct places)....oh and have the right natures.

but your team should level a bit more i think then you should be ok. try to get an abra/kadabra/alakazam for the last spot though...he will destroy one of the leaders by himself with psychic and really sweep everywere else. try to get calm mind on him also..then he kills all not resistant to psychic in one hit after a few uses.

    thats just my humble opinion

    Jaws...

I did it in high forties, but before hand bust your cash on full restores, full heals, max potions, hyper potions, revives, the works. I've done it and it works. Then from that point on just keep beating them until your high enough to beat them easly.

No. And get better moves =[ Blast Burn and Flamethrower on Charizard makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spork x_x

Well, I somehow beat them. o_o I didn't level them up or anything, just pounded away with strong attacks and bought like 35 Full Restores. xD
