4th Gen Can someone verify this poke?

    I just got a Gyarados from my friend.
    I'm not sure if this is legit or not and neither is he. He thinks he might have punched something in in twice or something (it's an ARed poke)

    It's IV spread is hp31/atk27/def31/spe28/sp.atk26/sp.def25
    It's EV spread is 216hp/16atk/176def/100spe
    And it's adamant.

    It's stats at level 50 are
    HP - 197
    Attack - 159
    Defense - 121
    Sp. Atk - 70
    Sp. def - 117
    Speed - 112




    We want to verify that the pokemon is legit and that it's stats aren't higher than they should or could be if the pokemon does indeed have that EV/IV spread.
     
    You must have the EVs or IVs wrong - this is what my stat calculator tells me it should have with those:
    197 159 121 71 118 111
     
    Not too much of a difference :)
     
    If he has an AR, can't he backup his save and use Pokésav to check? I don't have an AR, so I don't know if it's possible. But he could try the IV check code.
     
    Would make a nice BulkyGyara set. Anyways, I think it wouldn't be legit due to 3 reasons:
    -It's straight Lv50.
    -It already has EV's
    -The EV's are made perfectly for a Bulky Gyara which is required to have Adamant nature.
    The IV's are fine though. It might have been a good catch. If it was shiny and had MAX IV's, then it'd be much, much easier to identify.

    They know its hacked....since his friend made it.
    They just wanted to know if he made the stats legit, because his friend isnt sure that he put the right codes in.
