Can you lose you're pokémon save file?

    Last year, i lost my leaf green's saves. Since that fatefull day, my worse fear is to lose my platinum save. I have 220 hours in it and i want to know if there is something that can erase my save file. It just torture me when someone remove my game when my DS is still on.
     
    Never turn off/remove when you are saving
    Never use Ify AR codes or its easier to never use an AR
    Store in Case when not playing to prevent destruction of game cartridge
    pretty simple really
     
    And don't let it run through the washer. :) There's not really much more that can be said, and since Platinum's not incredibly old, I wouldn't worry about it giving out on you. Next time, please use the simple Q&A thread.
