Can you play with Old Decks against CPU opponents?

    I'm talking about theme decks dating back to the 1st generation like Brushfire and Blackout. I don't think it is possible in Pokemon TCG for Gameboy or TCGO since you cannot customize your opponents' deck and there are all sorts of limitations on how you can arrange your deck.
     
    Well in the TCG Game Boy game, all the cards needed to make those theme decks are in the game, they just aren't actually in the available pre-built decks, however the AI can't use any decks other than the ones they are given. In the TCGO, you can only use cards currently legal in the current modified format, though your collection can contain cards as old as the HeartGold SoulSilver set.

    Basically, there's no way that I know of where you can play the AI and make them use the old theme decks. :(

    You can certainly use sites like PlayTCG.me or TCGOne.net to play with the older cards, but I do believe you need an opponent for PlayTCG.me and you might need an opponent for TCGOne.net.
