    I really can't decide between using volcarona or arcanine. i like them both a lot 'cos their both fluffy and cute, but I shouldn't use 2 fire types. What do you guys think? Stats wise I guess?
     
    Volcarona is far better in terms of stats, but Arcanine works well as a mixed attacker too (and he learns Extremespeed). It depends what you need...

    Volcarona;
    Quiver Dance
    Flame Dance
    Bug Buzz
    Anything / Hurricane

    Arcanine;
    Extremespeed
    Flare Blitz
    Anything (from what I understand, he learns Morning Sun, Dragon Pulse, Will-o-Wisp, Wild Charge, Aerial Ace, Iron Head, Close Combat, Crunch, etc.)

    Volcarona is overwhelming as a Special Attacker, but Arcanine fills many roles...

    Though, there's not a problem with having two Fire-types :|
     
    It really depends on your other pokemon, both these pokemon are good but for separate reasons, but personally I'd go for Volcanora, Quiver Dance raises 3 stats in one and can turn it into a complete tank of a sweeper.
