Can't make a thread in Games Development

I can't start a new thread in the Game Development forum (which was the Game Development Genral Discussion) even though I can in any of its subforums. What's going on? It says my account may not have enough privilege. What do I need?

that's odd....You certainly have more than 15 posts....you should be able to post there....

It wasn't a matter of post count, but of certain permissions (that is, thread creation) having been turned off for members in that forum.

You should be able to post there now, though.

heh...that's odd...right after he posted that I went there and tried to create a thread...It didnt stop me. Was that because I'm a CS?

Yea it was.
Because the only usergroup I could see (well the only one I changed) that had probs for starting threads in that forum was the nornal reg users.
