Capital Cities of the Continents

    What Do you think the Capital of the Worlds are?

    I think that Hoenn's Capital is Lilycove City. Johto's Capital is Either Goldenrod City or Blackthorn City. And Kanto's Capital is Saffron City. What do you think.

    Another thing, is the Differences between All Three Continents. Hoenn Doesnt have those little Route-Houses that Divide The Different Regions of Kanto and Johto. What's up with the differences?
     
    I actually once had serious thought about politics in the Pok?mon Continent (my name for all the regions put together)...who is the governing body of the place? How come they are never mentioned in the anime or games?

    I hypothesized ht the capitol of Kanto was celedon (cuz of tha big mansion that I considered the Governor's Mansion), the capitol city of Johto was in Ecruteak (lotsa history there, so it is only fitting), and the capitol of the entire Pok?mon Continent was Indigo Plateau

    I grew out of this ideological thought by the time Ru/Sa were released so I never gave much thought to the same topic in hoenn, but if I were to guess, I would think Slateport yo be the capitol city.
     
    Well if you think about it, There would have to be some sort of ruler for each :).. There would be an extra group Along with the Political and Religions, It would need to be of pokemon. That group would be ruled by The Elite Four, and the Officials and Each City would have to be the Gym Leaders and Proffessors. The Political people would have to be the King of Johto (yes there is a king... to my knowledge atleast) The Individual Rulers of Kanto, And The Emperor of Hoenn. The Law Inforcement and Nurses (Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy) would also be involved in the political things. The Religious part is still empty, but Ecruteak would probably be the most religious, because of Legendary Pokemon and History.
     
    I always thought Johto's would be Goldenrod, Kanto's Celadon - they are the biggest cities, with the big Pok?Marts.

    The Pokemon World needs more Spirituality and More Continents :)!
     
    Spirituality? I think having religions in the Pok?mon World would alienate people. One of the best things about Pok?mon is that it embraces everyone, from all races, boys and girls - that's part of its widespread appeal. Religions would split the Pok?fans into bitter, twisted, plotting vengeful groups XD

    ..Yah, you have a point. Did you read my Worlds Discover Thread? It's in this forum. It has to do with Discovery and Religions.. It could be a pokemon based religion :)..Dont forget to see Pokemon Mythology which is also in this forum.
     
    Where do you get Viridian from, blue? Viridian is a Small City am I right? Hey you guys I have an Idea! Maybe we can put together a world map :). With all the worlds that the fanfics have, we could probably put together a world map with all the continents, and put cities and capitals on them.
     
    We could do our very own Pok?Community map, then we could pick an area from it to rule and stuff! Hey Dizz, remember your empires stuff? We could bring that back too!

    Maybe the gyms are the way they decide, the ones with the strongest gyms are the capitol. Frankly since the whole pok?mon revolves around pok?mon (duh) it'll have something to do with them probably.

    And then maybe they don't have capitols and every city has its own state?
     
    Nope because you could have a really strong Gym in a not so big town/city. States are overrated, I think there more like City-States if you ask me. So who wants to help on the map?

    Okay, from my journal of the ancient world, I've recorded that there are 7 Nations, There are way more though. They Include Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orimia*, Dialatia*, Gemaetus* and Aquelo*(Not pronounced Akyoolo or Akeelo, It's pronounced A kuh lo)

    * Nations with the Star near it will be introduced below.

    Kanto
    Kanto, Consists of all Continental Kanto, And the Rainbow Islands which are located to the East ( From Fuschia Going > This way)

    Capital: Saffron City
    Government: Royal Agency (Royal Agents Rule Cities under Confederacy)
    Nation Discovered in: Around 3800
    Liberated in: 3500

    Johto
    Johto, Borders with many nations, Landclaims in Johto Consist of All Continental Johto, Cianwood City, and upward from Cianwood City The Small Piece of Continent that is owned by Gemaetus* They also own the Island of Bizel, Or Battle Tower Island, which is located in Hoenn.

    Capital: Goldenrod City
    Government: Monarchy (Two Kings, Olivine, Goldenrod)
    Discovered in: 3000
    Liberated in: 2500

    Hoenn
    Hoenn is a very large nation, and isolated too. Anything within the Map of Hoenn Belongs to it, except the islands to the southeast, which are claimed for Johto.

    Capital: Lilycove City
    Government: Imperial Monarchy (4 Emperors for 4 Districts--Rustboro-Dewford, Slateport-Fallarbor, Mauville-Lilycove, Oceanic Areas)
    Discovered in: 1500
    Liberated in: 1295


    Orimia
    Orimia, consists of The Orange Islands, and the small continents of Circo and Tondan. Orimia is located to the South of Johto, and to the west of Hoenn.

    Capital: Troveta City/Island
    Government: Autonomous Rule upon each Island.
    Discovered in: 1853
    Liberated in: 1853

    Dialatia
    Dialatia is the Northern region of the Kanto/Johto Continent. Mostly Mountain or Coastlines can be found in this northern region. Cerulean City would have been the capital.

    Capital: Apollo City
    Government: Aristrocracy
    Discovered in: 3600
    Liberated in: 3600

    Gemaetus
    Gemaetus is a large hilly nation to the west of Johto. Lots of Cities can be found here, there are two capitals, for the two regions.

    Capital: Sapphire Harbor (West)-Diamond Metropolis(Mainland)
    Government: Monarchy
    Discovered in: 1500
    Liberated in: 1500

    Aquelo
    Aquelo is an Oceanic Nation, Submerged yards into the Ocean. Many people live on the small Islands and on Shallow Waters which cover most of the continent.

    Capital: Skystar City
    Government: Democracy
    Discovered in: 1400

    Anyway size is no issue, Australia's capitol is one of the smallest cities here

    Why not INDIGO PLATEAU!

    You know the "Elite4"? Its called $hitennou in Japanese, which means "The Four Big Kings"...

    Kings...[b/] Kings rule the countries, don't they?
     
    Indigo Plateau is considered the Bridge between Kanto and Johto.. Isnt it? So it would be capital of Both Kanto and Johto
     
    Hmm...interesting. Never thought about this before...Indigo Plateu can be possibly the capital of both Jotho and Kanto. And Hoenn? X.X;

    Uh...Devon corp. is there. Some people there used to work on buildings and stuff like that.

    What about the Other Continents? This is only 39-40% of the whole Pokemon World. Maybe I could draw some maps of something, but my scanner is broken so until it's fixed -_-..
