Well, new ICs, folks. I managed to slay my schedule by temporarily blowing everything off dealing with my real life obligations in an organized manner and coming here!

But wait- what's this? Another excuse for card games? For heaven's sakes, are the people exhausted with me yet? XD

IC to come tomorrow. Sorry, but I had a face-to-face meet with the peoples from my English course so the better part of the day was lost to that and commuting. Were this not the case, I'd totally have it up there already. :<

That done and forgotten, I'm sensing an Achan victory and a behind the scenes win for Judai. And all this before we hit land. :3

I should get another pointless IC in soon. *ponders*
 
*Hand raise* I didn't see the whole shinigami eyes duel spirit trade offer popping up and I didn't really guess the source of the challenge, but I figured it was only a matter of time until you'd find an excuse to give your yokais their time in the spotlight. ;D

I'm differing on the outcome, though. My bet is that Achan gets his tail-end kicked, or at least brushes close enough to it to prove a point/trigger some funky reaction from his mark. Either way, I smell something like character development over here. :3

Well, I totally do have dibs. >O At least...I hope I do since I've already set things in motion concerning this and halting them now would be very awkward. Here's hoping that we're not heading straight into a collision. XD

Aaand...the duel is finished. Betcha' didn't see an Ojama OTKO coming, huh? XD

And who here could tell that Kaito and Nicholas were going to be in cahoots?
 
I really wish all of the other duelists from earlier in the RP had stuck around so I could slap them in the face in surprise. That was like watching an actual episode. Highlight: Achan's reaction to Zenshi Tenrou Battouga. xD

And you had me reading stupid. Didn't expect that at all.

Having said that however, I admit, despite what you might think, I had a feeling Nicholas and Kaito had some sort of relationship to one another. Didn't know what exactly but I knew they were connected. Truly I did. xP

Honestly, between the apparent history and Kaito's showcased powers in his previous duel, finding out he was really a bad guy (I'm guessing a main baddie, too, considering the description you originally gave for the story) wasn't that much of a surprise, Thesis. The way you played it out, on the other hand, was. I wonder how this'll play out when we finally get to our destination...

Anywho, to my shame I must admit to not foreseeing this particular pairing, but I must agree that Kaito's behavior during the duel pretty much had him pegged as either a villain under cover or a good guy with serious dark tendencies who'd end up betraying the group somehow. Didn't predict such a lovably grand scheme, though. <3 Hehee...it actually gave me just the inspiration I needed to add the finishing touch to this little subplot of mine, so thank yew kindly. All of it will be resolved, probably in duelist kingdom now that Phani-bunny has confirmed only doing his thing after it.

Oh, and if anyone figured out what I'm up to based on that teaser conversation in my latest post, then my hat goes off to you. Since we technically haven't arrived yet, I didn't want to speed on to the landing on my own, so that was the best I could do in terms of IC. :x
 
Well, I was planning on adding a little filler post with one of those typical comic relief scenes where Michel would bang the cabin wall to tell Achan to pipe down, having thought him and Kaito were getting up and into some late night dueling hi-jinks. But then that wouldn't be much of a read, which of course got me thinking about adding another Chris x Chelsea chapter but truth be told, I've had enough of those two for a while. >3>

And all I got out of that conversation was a lovely partner complex for Angelo and some mysterious organisation bent on opposing Nicholas/Kaito's force in whatever they're planning in accomplishing. xP Also, judging by how things are playing out, I'll probably have to confer with you too Aea-chan. That is if you and Thesis' plans mesh together even further. =A=

...Well, now, if I happen to be right about this...then I have to thank you for the outlet. However, we may find ourselves in conflict once this subplot of yours resolves. We'll just have to see how this goes, eh?
 
Well, folks, it's official: Duelist Kingdom is now underway. Expect laughs, pain, plot development, and copious amounts of Pegasus J. Crawford.

But wait, what's this? We have subplots? WE SHALL RESOLVE THESE SUBPLOTS!!!!!

Yeah, I've realized that if we're going to get what I want to get done, well, DONE during DK, I need to know any details of a subplot that's going to be wrapped up. Not huge details, just a few specific ones- for example, what the main result is going to be. I'm already caught up with Phanima's, but Icha and AE, we do need to quickly run down anything you two are planning that will have a significant impact on your own characters.

Oh, and Icha, since you have yet to duel... I think I'll be setting up an opponent for you in the near future. (Ufufufufu....)

What, we have to duel?? I signed up to RP, not to duel! =PYAY

As for subplot, I don't actually have anything specific in mind. Just a few random ideas that may not even show up, and even those might change depending on how Alter Ego's subplot is going to work out. It's nothing set in stone (yet), and certainly nothing that the great Thesis need be bothered with.

You haven't gotten far enough into it yet for me to say, but this particular twist, I was not expecting from you.

Though there's already somewhat of a conflict. ...Well...on second thought, I guess "conflict" is the wrong term. You'll see what I mean in my next IC.
 
Aaaand we have an extension for the duration of this event because I'm running out of computer time for the day and wanted to cut it off somewhere neat.

SO, conclusion to come in my next IC instead. XD
