Oh, my bad. It wasn't important in the long run, anyway. *removes*

Mmm. My problem with the whole duel was that for some reason I always thought you could only chain one card to the activation of heavy storm- then your opponent needs to add an additional link for you to chain from. Then again, maybe that's a WC08 quirk, since it automatically determines the order that cards will have their effects chained in for convenience's sake? Ah, never mind, I really don't care either way because it's an enjoyable subplot and makes me feel happy inside.

So... I'll post tonight, but I don't think the helicopter can take off until you're done Icha. So duel! DUEL, DANGIT! XD

Umm...nope, there's no such restriction. As long as you don't make the mistake of involving a counter-trap in the equation (in which case your spell speed twos will be shut out of the chain), you can add as many effects as you like to the same chain as Storm. The DS games have a crappy mechanic for that that occasionally just plain ignores your attempts to chain, though. :[

Mm, that explains it. I couldn't do chain burn on my DS because WC08 doesn't usually let you chain to your own cards (despite giving you the option to negate your own summon with Solemn Judgment. 0.o)

Yeah, the games have some serious limitations. Huge hand sizes can also make things really funky. Imma' playing an Elma OTKO on Spirit Caller right now, and just this duel, five cards in my hand became inaccessible and invisible and a copy of Archfiend's Oath turned into a second copy of Graceful Charity for no apparent reason. o.O (I still played it to get my extra draws, though, and it worked) Thankfully, my invisible Exodia pieces still counted for the win condition. :x

And...I'd post if I could find something worthwhile to say here that could be said in more than two lines. IC to come...eventually, I suppose. XD

Okay... I've never seen anything like that in WC08, so that's at least one glitch fixed. XD

And if you can't post here, there's a card game with your name on it one forum over... XD

Yeah, I'm split between posting Achan's reaction to the death of Michel now or waiting until after Icha's duel for the sake of economy. Eh, I'll just post later tonight and do whatever's appropriate at the time. :3

*shakes fist* Don't make me come up with some convoluted reason to stop the duel, because so help me, I will!!

Really, though, there'll probably be a break in the middle so that you can do both.

No, you can ignore that part... The duel probably won't be up until I get back from TRU, though, so take that however you wish.

Striker duel. (>w<)b

And that was a bit more drama from Achan then I would've expected. Sure was fun to read though. <3

And replacement Team Seven member initiated.

Hah! I kneeew it! I knew Chelsea would be your replacement, Phani-bunny. :D *proud*

Speaking of which, I think I will be making my own modification to the team roster as well to wrap up my last odds and ends and finally dispense of the awkwardness that is me controlling Manjoume. So yosh, I shall be sneaking in a chara I can do more stuff with. Betcha' can't guess who. ;D

*waltzes of to post*

Well, I would've thought you'd guess it. |P *gives cookie*

And Manjoume is going buh-bye? Although, I'm curious as to who this new addition will be. It wouldn't be someone we haven't seen yet I presume but out of the current NPC cast, I can't really see who'd join willingly. *ponders*

EDIT: I bags me a Sleeping Beauty! Although in light of Tacey's potential relation with almost all four of the characters or the prospect of having Kuso play the role of a female character, I might wait a little and take whichever one's left. x3

All that aside, this is quite a peculiar turn of events. Although you're certainly keeping things interesting Thesis. |3

Hee...fairy tales, eh? So many fun roles I could stick Tacey in...hurr...I think I'll go with Bearskin, if ya' don't mind. 'Cause I'm cool like that and can take the obscure tale of the quartet. :3

And as for the new addition...here I thought my last post would have made it obvious. Oh well, if it didn't then it soon will be when I formally introduce said chara. XD

Oh, and Thesi? Would the replacement chara then have to be in the same fairy tale as Tacey or do the Achan/Manjoume spots not have fairy tales assigned to them or what? :x

Eh, whoops, forgot to mention that: some people have no character- in their case, whenever they beat an opponent they'll have the oppurtunity to transfer the character they received to a team mate of their choice. They can't complete a story on their own, though. You can have one character receive that information via e-mail, or...

By the way.... toldja pointy-haired security guard would be back. (I was this close to having him parody Simon's "Bro is dead" speech from Gurren Lagann, too. XD)

Don't worry, the deck did make it clear that it was Haruko.

As for our new round, I suppose Kuso will be taking Hansel & Gretel. ...I'm not sure I'm getting this, though. So, do the characters of each story have to all be on just one duelist for everybody to pass (I.E., Achan collects all of the Red Riding Hood characters, Tacey collects all the Bearskin characters, etc) or does one have to be on each person? In other words, if Kuso were to pick up a character from Achan's story, would that completely mess up any chances of passing through that one?

Yep, actually. The only people who can swap characters around are those who aren't actively assigned a story (Read: Judai and Haruko). So that means that every other team member is screwed over if a character from their story gets collected by someone else. The goal here is to use the clues to find and defeat the correct opponents, and it's tricky. The good deal is that the pass rate is one story-one team, meaning that only one of our characters needs to get an actual complete story. :3

...Then I sense a cheap twist of cheapness eventually coming from you.

I just have one more thing to point out: Four stories of four characters each is 16 total. Eight teams of four people each is 32 total. So there are teams going without a story?

Nope, but not every team has four people with a story. Team Seven does because... well, because Pegasus thinks it's special and wanted to give it a good chance at victory since they're at a bit of a disadvantage what with Shadow Duelists eating their team mates left and right. XD

EDIT: Oh, and since I can't think of a better place to say this... I just re-beat and re-unlocked everything in WC08, and I've got at least one arse-whuppin' deck that makes Wi-Fi noobz disconnect and run for cover, so I'm good to duel anyone who asks. XD

The fact that you didn't think to come to me after I had asked you to made me so mad that I couldn't come back on the forum until now.

Just kidding. Cold temperatures are annoying.

Anyhoo, IC tonight, unless my hands freeze up again.

(By the way, I am guessing that Achan is the lumberjack/woodsman/whatever, despite the clue strongly hinting towards being Red Riding Hood herself. It would just be too obvious for that. Besides, the lumberjack/woodsman/whatever is the hero in some respects.)

Well, I'm going to bet on the obvious and say that Achan is none other than the Little Red Riding Hood herself. The hood is the only one who really acts with the explicit intent of carrying aid to the elderly and she is cited as being loved by all whereas the hunter really serves more of a hero-to-the-rescue type role.

Anyway, I've already tormented Phani with this, so...any guesses on Tacey's character? XD

First off, I'll be guessing the soldier. The devil and the older sisters don't "benefit from another's scheme", though I suppose the soldier and the youngest daughter could both be "victims of another's charity".

Second, I'll have you all know that I JUST POSTED. But PC ATE MY POST.

So I'll have that post up later tonight. Dammit.

Ahh...but yes they do. Remember, the merchant's family was on the verge of financial collapse, so if the Devil's scheme hadn't led to Bearskin helping them out, all of the daughters would have ended up on the street. The youngest draws particular benefit from the Devil's scheme, because she winds up with a strapping, handsome husband who will never run out of money. In fairy tale terms, that's about as good an outcome as a woman can expect.

Also, all the daughters are victims of Bearskin's charity in a way. The youngest because she ends up basically forced into marriage (even though she turns out to have gotten quite a good deal out of that), the older ones because said marriage pact - which, again, is due to Bearskin's charity - ultimately leads to their deaths.

The Devil may not fit my clues, but I can still play his advocate in this. xD *shot*

Also, it has now been almost 24 hours since you promised a post 'tonight'. Someone's laaaaate. :O
