Hello there!
Found this forum whilst trying to identify a couple of particularly troublesome cards and was hoping someone could please help me out!
I haven't collected cards in quite a while and was randomly going through my collection and figured I'd look into their value, rarity, etc, etc. I was heartily disappointed by most on that, as one would expect, but then I remembered two particularly strange cards I had! There may be a couple more that escaped me, but the two in question look rather identical to what I can find of them online except for two main areas; the first being that the font is different (Something I mostly noticed on the numbers) and the second being the texture. I could find cards online with the same design but they all lacked the texture these had which made me wonder if they were fake? Only trouble is, as far as I remember I bought this from a GAME store in the UK, so I'd like to think they were real. Card is textured in a grainy kinda feel with a design over the images. The edges are gold.
Apolagies if I'm just terrible at searching on google for what exactly the cards are, but if someone knows whether or not they are fake or why they are textured unlike my other cards, would really appreciate it! Thank you in advanced! Any other information, if there is any, is welcome too but just knowing if they're fake or not is plenty for me!
The cards in question are attached below! Apolagies if they are displaying on their side, not sure why that is happening, they are the right way up on my side. Thankfully the texture shows in the images rather well at least!
