Jynx is NOT a racial stereotype [proofed]
I E-mailed Carole Boston Weatherford yesterday and managed to get a reply.
PS: Do NOT copy this elsewhere, or put similar stuff on your site!
As the above E-mail indicated, the article "Politically Incorrect Pokemon" was indeed written because of commercial circumstances. The article ?Politically Incorrect Pokemon? was indeed written in order to knock down the popularity of Pokemon which was on its heat at that time. (And for her to earn money from newspaper companies.) Nothing really racist about Pokemon whatsoever.
?I don?t even think of Pokemon now.? In her E-mail. That means, she was only pretending to be offended when she wrote the article. (Apparently, to get money) That proofs that, what she said about the racial stereotypes or whatever, were not her true feelings or opinions. (I also found out that she actually doesn?t agree with most of the stuff she wrote! According to the other questions me and my father asked.)
Therefore, Jynx is NOT a racial stereotype according to Carole Boston Weatherford. The article was made for commercial.

E-mail said:I am referring you to a few questions my father wanted to ask you:
1. Do you think that preferance of dolls coloured in white in schools are plainly racism? (As you said, in a survey, Japanese imports had resulted people to dislike black people.) NO
2. Given that most people wear black suits and black shoes to work. Does that mean they like black people a lot, or hate black people a lot? No relationship to choice or wardrobe and feelings about race.
My father would seriously want some answers.

The following are my questions:
1. Do you learn any languages apart from English? studied French in high school.
2. There was an ice-cream company from Sweden, promoting their newest ice-cream "Nogger Black". So called because the ice-cream contains liquoice. Do you think that the company is racist? I'm not aware of the product and therefore have no opinion.
3. In 2002, Nintendo had agreed to change Pokemon Jynx's face into purple. Is this efficient enough? Sure, but to be honest, I no longer even think about Pokemon.
4. Hong Kong had decided to ignore your article about the "Darlie Toothpaste". They are not changing the name in future. What do you feel? In fact, my article had no impact on the toothpaste name. Before my article was published the company that acquired the product hand changed the name from Darkie to Darlie.
Please don't email me about this again. As far as I am concerned, the issue is over.

Thank you for your kind attention. Please do reply to my father's questions, and hopefully, if you are being nice, my questions too.

Mrs Weatherford,
I know that my E-mail address and name can be shocking to you, but I confess that this is NOT a hate mail or a virus mail.
