Yeah they are about 500 or more episodes but only in japan and it's called Detective Conan over there

I have a collection of the manga series (in Vietnamese). It is probably among the first manga series to get me into reading manga. Case Close was probably the hottest manga in Vietnam at the time being.

That's true. I remember my Vietnamese friend brought me a bunch of Detective Conan stuff a while back when she came back from Vietnam ^_^

The manga is 50 volumes long so I wouldn't be surprised if there were 500+ episodes.

Actually around 470-480 eps. Also, there are 10 movies. You can check veoh.com for the movies, thats where I watched them. Like a year ago :/

But it's way better in japanese; Minami is just so good at doing Conan =D

O.o Gah, usually anime movies come out during summer..kinda convinent for me as I'm in japan during the summer sometimes XD

I am absolutely ADDICTED to Detective Conan o_o I have up to volume 18 of the Manga (all that's out in the US right now) Personally I prefer it to the anime. At least the older episodes..Gosho Aoyama's drawing style looks great in manga, but rather wonky as anime. It's actually improved a LOT though, if you watch the newer episodes.
